"Chiavenna center is not far from the B&B, where one can find many restaurants.
Silvia is very kind and helpful, and the studio is well equipped with everything which one needs during our stay"

"We had a wonderful stay! The staff went above and beyond to make us comfortable. They have a communal lounge area where you can hang out and grab a drink, patio tables outside, and a restaurant that on its own is worth the visit. The breakfast was amazing and very filling. Rooms are serviced every day. Our apartment was comfortable with everything we needed. We chose to walk to and from the lake and although steep in parts, it is totally doable. There is a dedicated path so you aren’t walking on...

"Amazing views and nice to have a pool, owners are very friendly. The downsides are you will need a car as it’s up steep hills also air con did not work at all and neither did the WiFi properly."

"Odalar çok temizdi. Silvia kahvaltı saatinden erken çıkacağımızı öğrenince bizim için erken kahvaltı hazırladı. Çok nazik ve yardımseverler. Yine gittiğimde orada kalmayı planlıyorum. Harika bir oteldi."

"The hotel was spotless and the staff were very friendly. Wonderful breakfast room with plenty of choices. The hotel was in a great location within easy walking distance to the ferry, restaurants, and shops."
"Room was very quiet; noticeable how quiet the aircon was. View from room over lake was amazing to wake up to as was location for breakfast. Infinity pool is large, refreshing but not cold and a great spot to watch life on the lake go by."
"A hidden gem that gets everything right
Villa Rêverie in Bellano is exactly what Lake Como travel should feel like unhurried, beautiful, and completely unpretentious. We stayed here as a base for exploring the lake and couldn’t have chosen better.
The property itself is charming and well kept, and the location is genuinely unbeatable for anyone actually trying to see the lake rather than just Instagram it. The ferry stop and train station are steps away, which made day-tripping effortless we hopped on and off at our leisure without ever worrying about parking, crowds, or the chaos that tends to swallow up the more famous villages.
Breakfast was included and a lovely start to each morning simple, fresh, and served without fuss.
Bellano itself is the open secret of Lake Como. While Varenna and other heavily touristed towns were packed with day-trippers and cruise groups, we returned each evening to a village that felt genuinely local and calm. No jostling for a table, no shoulder-to-shoulder waterfront promenades just the lake, the mountains, and a glass of wine in peace.
For the price point, Villa Rêverie offers outstanding value. You’re getting a comfortable, well-located stay with breakfast on one of the most beautiful lakes in the world, without paying the premium that comes with being in a “name” town.
If you want to actually enjoy Lake Como rather than survive it, stay here"
"Let me begin by saying that this is one of the most beautiful resorts in the world! The architecture is fantastic with private balconies on every room which allow personal, gorgeous views that one will never forget. Built at the turn of the twentieth century, the property has been maintained well. Considering that the resort sits atop a very high peak overlooking a beautiful lake in the Alps, that is no small feat. The interior has been well preserved, shiny and clean. The rooms are clean, spacious and very comfortable. That’s the good side of the experience. On the down side, the staff, the restaurant, the unwelcoming atmosphere, not so good. We got the feeling from check in until departure that we were a big inconvenience. Not rude, just indifferent, not friendly. We sat in the restaurant for half an hour, completely ignored, while a small group (we assumed they were locals) had a get together, and finally walked out. We drove around the mountain a short way and found a small restaurant where we had the most wonderful home cooked meal we could have dreamed of. No breakfast, no coffee, no restaurant.
I would definitely stay here again, but with no expectations of service."
"Great staff, breakfast included was very good. And their dinner was also very good. Rooms were decent size and clean. Great location in Menaggio next to ferry stop for easy access to Verenna and Bellagio"
"Loved out triple room, windows on two sides looking over the water. Large bathroom that you accessed through what looked like a wardrobe door. Beautiful old building with lovely architectural feature. Breakfast was very nice. The only issue we had was that we were a bit cold at night (it was late March) and although we understood that the central heating wouldn’t be pumping at that time of year, we asked reception for more blankets and were just told no. Didn’t ruin our stay but I don’t think we were asking for too much there."
