Newly renovated in the spring of 2025. The changes are stunning! A spacious 3 bedroom cottage situated 75 feet from your own private beach on the beautiful Northumberland Strait in the small community of Belle River, PEI, 6 minutes from the Wood Islands Ferry. Nestled at the end of Waterview Lane, this very private setting provides incredible views from every window. Enjoy warm summer breezes and drifting off to sleep at night to the sound of waves on the shore. This is a 1200 sq. ft. cottage on 1.5 acres in a private setting providing a spectacular view of the Northumberland Strait from your large railing-free deck. You also have direct access to the private beach for walking, beachcombing, searching for sea glass, driftwood and other treasures, as well as for striped bass fishing, clam digging, seal watching and bonfires. Front deck has a propane BBQ, 6 person patio table and chairs and 2 chaise loungers. Back deck has a 4 person patio set. In addition to the full size washer and dryer, there is also a clothesline in the back yard. Heat pump provides cooling on hot summer days or heat for chilly nights. The kitchen is very well equipped with a refrigerator with freezer, propane range, dishwasher, microwave, air fryer, griddle, toaster, blender, coffee maker, stainless steel pots, wine glasses, dish towels, dish cloths and a wide range of utensils and serving dishes. Dining room has a comfortable 6 chair dining set. Living room has a queen size pullout sofa, a smart TV, stereo, DVD player, 2 regular sofas and a love seat. Free WiFi is included. There are 3 bedrooms, 2 with queen beds and 1 with a double bed, all with room darkening blinds. All linens, blankets and towels are provided, including beach towels. An iron and ironing board is provided and fans are available in each bedroom. There is shed at the back of the property that contains camp chairs, buckets, shovels, large lobster pot, beach toys, etc. that you are welcome to use. The town of Montague, which is 20 minutes away, has major grocery stores, pharmacies, restaurants, etc. There is also Coopers grocery store in Eldon which is about 12 minutes away. It also has a gas station and liquor outlet. The closest liquor store is in Wood Islands by the Tourist Information Centre, about 6 minutes away. The local golf course, Belfast Highland Greens, is 12 minutes away. Other notable golf courses such as the Links at Crowbush Cove, Dundarave and Brudenell are 45 minutes or less away. Access to the Confederation Trail for walking or cycling is 5 minutes away.
