"Me and my son at amazing stay! From the late check in due to being at park, the clean rooms, and my son LOVED that their pools stayed open until 11. It was perfect even for a hour after long day at park. Will definitely be back and would highly recommend this location! We will be booking again!"

"This is an older hotel that is desperately ready for some upgrades, but it is clean and everything we needed worked. It was understaffed, but the staff that was available was very helpful and went above and beyond. The pool was lovely, the location was great, and the price was right. If you are headed to Sandusky for any reason and don't want to spend an arm and a leg, this is a choice I would make again!"

"Staff was amazing helping resolve issue with two rooms that I booked and needed! Breakfast was good and Staff attended buffet well. Please order some pepper. There was none. Some fresh fruit would be nice. We would return to this property- good Staff and great location."

"The hotel itself is nothing special. The rooms are outdated, the AC struggled to keep the room cool, and the bathroom was tiny. That said, the location is unbeatable. As long as you understand that you are paying to be able to walk to Cedar Point and NOT for resort like accommodations, I think Breakers is a great choice. It was insanely hot during our stay so being able to grab some park food to go and retreat back to our semi-cool room to eat in peace was amazing. We also had a storm come through so being able to relax in the room while waiting for the rides to reopen was great. The hotel itself will almost certainly not wow you, but the convenience to Cedar Point probably will."

"The staff was amazing, very informative, accomadating with my requests, answering questions. The floor& door by the bathroom was sticky. There should be instructions on using the A/C, it was either freezing or stuffy, too many selections to set the temperature, plus it was noisy sounded like it was ready to break down.There are no coffee makers in the room or in the lobby. Explanations were, free coffee was stopped after Covid. Guess they decided, why bring it back when they can make money, forget about customer satisfaction. Never stayed where there is no free coffee. Overall, it was disappointing, expected a nicer facility after reviewing the website, probably won't be back. Hope they're paying the staff well because the service was a positive. "

"This is an Amazing place to stay. The hotel is a beautiful property and has a patio right on the water! The staff is wonderful and went above and beyond! A special shoutout to Alex(bar area) for the best espresso martinis ever! The food was the best food I have ever had traveling at a hotel or restaurant! The hummus , French onion dip and Wagyu Steak picante were my favorites( had multiple times)!!! We ate all but one meal here because of how delicious it is! Highly recommend!!!"

"Beautiful place along Lake Erie. Love that it's in the water. Fun bar next door. Lots of places to walk or benches/swings to sit and enjoy the views. The sunset in the swimming cove was lovely. Nickel Beach down the road was nice ($7 parking) and cleaner than the beach by the hotel. Plenty of places to eat in Sandusky which is 11 minutes away. Typical breakfast, clean room and extremely comfy beds. Worth the stop!"
