It is a charming, welcoming five-bedroom home between a plethora of outdoor activities, including Sun Valley's world-famous ski resort, renowned golf courses, and Silver Creek--a worldwide destination for fly fishing. This is the perfect location to enjoy all that Wood River Valley and the Sawtooth Mountains have to offer. The house's yard is adjacent to the 35-mile bike path that runs from Galena Lodge to the South end of Bellevue.
This 100-year-old house radiates charm and makes you feel welcome and at home from the moment you step onto the front porch. You are welcomed by decades of warmth and love from the family that has lived there for over 65 years. The house has updated bedrooms and half bath. There is a southern-facing dining room with large windows and a dining table. The room also has a gas stove for relaxing evenings to read, eat, and play games.
Fully equipped retro kitchen and welcoming living room. Large, private, backyard teeming with trees, fruit, and a fantastic large picnic table for eating, relaxing with friends and family, and enjoying beautiful days and evenings that the valley offers. The family-friendly yard offers hours of exploration and fun.
This house is only 10 minutes from the Hailey Airport and has great local restaurants within walking distance. It is a 5-minute walk from the house takes you to the Howard Preserve nature path along the Big Wood River, which takes you to nature quickly.

Work trip

Family Thanksgiving.

A time to gather and Margaret’s place suited our needs perfectly. We don’t have a large enough house to host my entire family so we were trying to find something close by. Margarets place was 3 blocks away and we could easily walk back and forth which was wonderful. Super cozy and quaint. Thanks!

Old but still nice

Staying here was like living in a museum. It was very old but fun to show the kids. They found antiques everywhere. The place had everything we needed and was smack in the middle of Bellevue which was an adorable little town full of super kind people. We enjoyed waking around the area. The only down side is that with the antiques came the “old stuff” smell. The home could have used some airing out. But if that doesn’t bother you this is a great find. It was quirky and fun. Oh, and the house plants were beautiful 😁!

Family Ski Trip

Perfect location for a ski trip in Sun Valley. Plenty of beds for everyone. Around the corner from some great restaurants. The only thing we could ask for was more comfortable seating in the front room.

Perfect

We actually live in this neighborhood but rented this adorable house for overflow family over Christmas. The house is so charming, clean, well-organized and comfortable for a family to hang out and dine together. Only downside is there is only one shower.

The cozy cottage was just perfect for my family and I for the weekend. We had everything we needed at the house to cook and entertain ourselves while the kids played upstairs with some vintage toys and books and there was plenty of room for us all!

Lovely for a writing retreat

We stayed here for a writing retreat and it was great, with a nice nature park and various areas for walking, stores close by, and plenty of room for everyone to have a private bedroom and space to work.

Great house with plenty of bedrooms for skiing Sun Valley

Older house with plenty of nick nacks, warm and very clean. Spacious bedrooms, well stocked with supplies for cooking and meals. We liked the town of Bellevue, the easy access to the house and Mahoney's bar was right around the corner as were some other restaurants. It was convenient to drive up to Sun Valley for skiing everyday with only a 25 minute drive. Just watch your speeds as its pretty well enforced. Maggie was great to deal with and the one item we asked for (gas grill) they took out for us and made sure it had gas. Our group really enjoyed our stay and will definitely go back when in the area again.
