Ride galbraith mountain from your door! Cozy Bellingham studio in the woods.

Enjoy the benefits of riding your bike from the front door right to the Galbraith mountain trail system. Along with lake whatcom a 5 min drive away, and lake Padden a 2 min drive. Where you can paddle board, kayak or go exploring. (I do have a paddle board available) Take a trip to the historic town of fairhaven or downtown Bellingham less than 10 min away. The cozy 900sf apartment has a king bed with futon and sectional couch for guests to sleep. Along with the garage downstairs where you can lock up your bikes and hang out while either cleaning your bike or taking off your gear. I do have a bike stand and a shop full of tools if needing to do any maintenance along with a Traeger you can cook or bbq with.

Quick stay peaceful stay

Quick trip to bring our daughter back to school. Beautiful secluded feel but only minutes to everything. Great place very clean had everything we needed. Nice lake within 5min for activities including nice municipal golf course that I got a round in at.

The apartment was very nicely appointed with good appliances and cabinets and comfortable furniture. It was 5-15 minutes away from several of Bellinham's wonderful city parks, the bay, and both downtown and historic downtown. Our host was very accommodating by answering emails promptly. The neighborhood was quiet and private. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great for what we needed. Everything was amazing including the room and space, the kitchen and coffee, the washer and dryer and we did not watch TV but that TV was huge. Would stay here again for sure.

Perfect Galbraith Basecamp

Very clean, comfy and stocked with everything you could possibly need. We came to Bellingham to ride mountain bikes in Galbraith mountain and Chris’s place was the perfect access point. We had storage for the bikes in his shop and access to tire pump/tools if needed. We would definitely stay here again!

Very nice

Apt was very nicely decorated and well supplied. Appliances were plentiful and modern. Location was good for me as Lake Padden golf course and hiking and biking trails are nearby.

Rustic and quiet retreat in the woods

Our stay was superb! The hosts were very accommodating. I made a booking mistake but the hosts were so helpful and flexible. The place was warm and stocked with everything we needed. It was so nice after a long day to come back to a warm suite, a huge tv and relax and watch a movie. I absolutely recommend this place and will definitely return!

Perfect spacious gem!

This place was clean, comfortable, spacious, and convenient. Think move-in-ready! If you plan on cooking, the kitchen has pretty much anything you could need. Coffee grinder, immersion blender, gas range, tupperware, cookware, you name it. We will definitely be back.

All the Comforts of Home

We would absolutely book this property again. Incredibly well-stocked kitchen, workspace, and bathroom. Extremely clean, comfortable, and well maintained studio. Restful bed and sofa with cozy throws. Host responded promptly to questions. Tucked above a large shop (stairs required to access) in a peaceful wooded setting, but a quick 10-12 minute drive takes you to the restaurants and activities in Fairhaven, Bellingham, and WWU. If the weather gets icy, you may need an AWF for the sloping driveway.

Great Place

I have been renting homes for many years. This home is a definite 5 star listing. The home was well stocked very clean and in great condition. I will definitely recommend this property to anyone I know traveling to this area. The property owner has went above and beyond to make sure your stay in this studio apartment is enjoyable. I have stayed at many property rentals that were much more expensive and not as nice as this property. I would like to thank the home owner for giving us a great place to stay.

Large, excellent studio

5 star everything. Unit is well equipped, clean and comfortable. Quiet and private, but close to town, Lake Padden Park and Galbraith Mountain biking/hiking trails. I have stayed here more than once and highly recommend it. The hosts are very responsive when needed. The only thing to note is that this is a second floor apartment and there are approximately 20 stairs to navigate on the way up.

I've used this listing several times in the past 6 months for stays from a few days to a week at a time. The studio is large, very well equipped, scrupulously clean and functions very well. The only thing to note, and it's not a complaint, is that there is a long staircase to access the unit. People with mobility issues should take this into consideration.

Perfect Choice!

We were in Bellingham for the weekend - so some of us were mountain biking at Galbrath and in town. The place was close to trails lakes, and town, but in trees and quiet. There was a nice pool table downstairs and the kitchen is well stocked, with every detail covered to head out for the day. The host was super helpful when we had questions. It had a nice vibe, well designed. Just pull the bed away from the wall so as not to hit your head in the morning. - basic common sense which we were too tired to catch. ;-D. Thank you Chris!

The overall property was comfortable and very close to Bellingham. Although the kitchen was well stocked, it would have been nice to have had creamer and sugar for our coffee since we got in late our 1st night and we're too tired to go to a grocery store. The one downside to the property is that it is one big loft area with no separate bedroom. This of course is a concern when all parties do not go to bed and get up at the same time everyday. While we managed to make it work, it would have been more comfortable with a separate bedroom that could have been closed off. However, the bed was very comfortable and if a loft setting is right for you, then this would be a good place to stay

Great accommodations tucked above a shop. Quiet, very well equipped, and a few minute drive from downtown. King size bed is very comfortable. If you have a 3rd or 4th person, they’re on the couch or futon. Would definitely stay again!
