"The language barrier was definitely an issue. We were greeted in the street by the off-site host who was upset that we were planning to check out early even though we said we were paying for the extra night and despite the fact that we had emailed June 22nd that we had to shorten our stay. Top Belmonte Calabro Hotel Reviews

Aer Hotel Phelipe

8/10 Good

"Need updating and better breakfast, but clean, close to airport and train station, good seafood restaurant 1 min away. Place worked well for 1 night stay before travels to Calabria for holidays."

Piccolo Hotel

8/10 Good

"Clean room and very nice staff, but you need to be able to communicate in Italian. Convenient location for bus or train. My room was on the first floor and no loft or offer of help with the suitcase. I had not booked breakfast, but for a very reasonable 5 euros was able to have a great breakfast, no problem."

Italiana Hotels Cosenza

10/10 Excellent

"Hotel and staff were wonderful. Easy check in and check out. Great location. Room and bathroom great and clean and all other areas in the hotel. Breakfast was very good. Loved having the slippers too. Only complaint would be that wifi was not very good but would stay again. Thank you."
