"It was a beautiful property with an amazing view of the water with beach access! I loved having the restaurant and bar overlooking the water. "When we booked for a night we were conscious that the hotel is a relatively no frills place (a bit dilapidated, simple furniture, but clean) and expected no luxury. What we also not expected in our room was a continuous very noisy sound of water streaming through pipes (a problem with the airco piping ? a lack of noise insulation between the room and an adjacent technical facility ?). We made a voice recording of the noise and asked reception whether they could explain this noise and perhaps...

"We had a great stay here! The food at the restaurant was lovely and the staff were kind and helpful. The best thing with our room was the balcony with the incredible view! It was clean but a little small if you have a big luggage. The only downside is that the room doesn’t have an AC. I still recommend this hotel because it’s so nice!"

"Lovely place to stay. We arrived late for a quick stop over after our flight. Everything was easy and well organised. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was lovely and the pool was gorgeous. I would definitely go back!"

"Although clean (and the bed comfortable), the main problem with my room was a terrible stench that seemed to emerge from the direction of the air conditioner and which lingered in the room despite airing it. I thought at first this was a result of seaside heat and humidity, so I didn't report the smell. A few days later, when I opened the safe the day before my departure, my passport and other valuables were wet. That is when I realized that the nasty odor was due to chronic leaking of the AC and the water dripping and seeping into the closet and woodwork right under the AC, including the metal safe attached to the wall of the closet!! I had an early departure the day after, so I didn't have time to complain, but other reviews have reported similar bad smells, and if AC leaks are also the problem, then something needs to be done. You don't want people's valuables and passports to get wet inside the safe that's meant to protect them. On the upside, the hotel provides a shuttle service (a "navette") to and from the Ajaccio airport, which is convenient. Also, you can take the beach shuttle right outside the hotel, which will get you to various beaches in the "Rive Sud." "

"A small house in the hills near Figari with distant views of a lake, in complete isolation with private pool. Very well equipped with airco, wonderful terrace overlooking the surrounding hills. Really a place of beauty!"
