"One elevator was broke down. This hotel is an older Best Western which was obviously not kept up. Current owners seem to be doing a lot of repairs. We stayed in a newly remodeled room and it was very nice. Very clean. Indoor/outdoor pool - nice. The pool area itself is run down with the exception of the pool, steam shower and sauna. Hot tub was not working. It will be a very nice place to stay if they continue the work being done. It has a ways to go. Breakfast was good. I would/will stay here again."

"Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful family vacation at Rockstar Resort.Our younger grandchildren spent hours in the pool. the short drive to a lovely, not crowded beach filled the bill for sand time. We rented a boat on Pine Lake and the kids loved tubing. The house was perfect. Loved having multiple refreigerators and plenty of bathroom. We missed not having the sun sail over the deck. A table umbrella would help."

"We had a wonderful stay at this property and would highly recommend it. The home was exactly as described in the listing, clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. It easily accommodated our group of 14 with plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy time together.The host was exceptional throughout the entire process. Communication was prompt, friendly, and helpful, making both check-in and our stay seamless. Any questions we had were answered quickly.Overall, the property met all of our expectations and provided a great setting for our group gathering. We would definitely stay here again and would not hesitate to recommend it to others looking for a spacious and reliable rental in the Laporte area.Thank you for helping make our trip so enjoyable!"
