Excellent location with a lovely terrace viee

When we arrived no reception and block number painted over. Spent ages in the early hours of morning trying to find it. Couldn’t use complex facilities until day 8 as confusion over passes and keys. Apartment very dated and mould in bathroom. Fridge over freezing as icebox door broken. All in all not a great experience.

We have stayed in this property several times because it is perfectly situated for bars, restaurants and the beach. It has a large terrace with a lovely view, suntrap for most of the afternoon. I would definitely recommend it.

Spacious property with very good pool and bar
Very spacious property in a good location with an excellent pool and bar area. We had a mix up on cleaning that was sorted quickly, how owners respond to issues says a lot about them. Huge outside balcony for an apartment, bathroom a bit dated but still fine, recommend going up into the village centre as some really nice places to eat there, we were there at the same time as fireworks on the beach and a fair at Palermo Park, very good timing

Perfect location
This is the second time we have stayed at this property. It is perfectly situated for bars restaurants and beach. Just a short walk from the beautiful Paloma Park. The property has everything you need , the bonus is the large terrace with has the sun on it for most of the day. Love this property and would highly recommend. Hoping to go back in a few months.

The apartment was very dated and in need of a deep clean In fairness the beds and towels where freshly laundered .All the appliances had something wrong or broken on them .The kettle sounded like it was going to take off ,the hairdryer on worked for a few minutes then overheated ,some of the hob did not work etc .There is nowhere to put any food in the kitchen if you really did want to cook for yourself apart from under the sink. The glass table top was loose and unsuitable if small children are staying .I have stayed in many apartments in the area and can honestly say this is the worst one .

Really loved the property, in particular the large terrace and it's lovely views of the mountains. It's really well situated for the beach, bars, restaurants and the supermarket. Overall a lovely holiday with very helpful hosts.

Nice little apartment
We all really enjoyed the apartment and the photos make it look smaller than it actually is. The terrace is quiet big and gets the sun from around 2/3pm till dusk so good for sunbathing. The location is perfect 5 minutes from beach and restaurants. I would stay here again and probably will at some point. The only downfall for us w you have to book the pool and with covid restrictions in place the capacity is only 30 so we only managed to get 1 day but being 5 minutes from the beach we decided to go there most of the trip. Overall though very nice apartment and worth booking!

Love this apartment already booked for 2022
Always an enjoyable stay in the 2 bedroom apartment has everything you need for your stay. Beds are super comfortable. Outside terrace is spacious and has a good size dining table. The apartment is spacious and comfortable and a bonus was getting CBeebies on tv easy distraction for our boy while getting ready for an evening out. I would advise owner for safety reasons to put a lock at the top of the doors that access the terrace/balcony as our 3 yr old was able to slide the lock across and open the door. Perfect location to beach, bars & restaurants. Was a shame the pool was restricted to sessions and could only have the morning or afternoon session allowing only 30 people so we used the roof top pool opposite the apartment as you could do 11.30 - 16.30. No fault of the owners but Worth knowing if you have a holiday book. We always enjoy our stay and have been returning to this apartment year after year. Simon has always been very helpful and accommodating especially with having to move holiday dates over the last year. 100% would recommend this apartment. Friends have always rented the 1 bedroom apartment same time we go and return year after year.

Mountain view terrace
We rented this two bed apartment for three weeks in February/March, we had a great time and it suited us perfectly. Both bedrooms are spacious, the kitchen had enough of everything to make self catering easy enough but it’s the terrace where we spent most of our time, it is huge! Partly in sun partly in shade all day, lovely mountain views, large table, chairs and sun beds, a drying rack for washing, a barbecue (though we never used it). Plenty of towels and tea towels provided, a good washing machine which we used a lot. A good supermarket across the road, local bakeries and lots of lovely cafes and restaurants within easy walking distance. 10 minutes walk to the beach 20 minutes to the train station, which takes you to and from the airport in 20 minutes, for €2.55, onto Malaga in another 10 minutes. Forgot trudging up that hill past reception by the way, if you are walking up to the town/train then go through the nearby back gate and it’s a straight uphill walk, if going to the supermarket or down to the beach then straight down the nearest steps out through the gate and you are there! Will definitely be staying here again if at all possible.

Spacious apartment on a hillside
Great location close to amenities. Cooking facilities adequate as we tended dine in most evenings. Sun terrace very spacious and well used during our stay receiving the sun from midday to sunset. Resort in a nice setting. There are numerous steps or a steep hill to climb which may pose a problem to those with mobility issues. We would definitely book this apartment again as it ticked all our boxes. Hosts Simon & Wendy were very helpful and accommodating

Nice apartment
Nice apartment at the top of a hill, so not good for people with walking difficulties or a pram as lots of steps to the complex and no lifts. The apartment had everything we needed. English channels, large terrace, views of the hills, hairdryer, iron, washing machine was a bonus. The pool was lovely, the outdoor rooftop pool was closed for the winter and the indoor pool didn’t open until November so missed out on those as the apartment is close to them. There is a supermarket over the road which has everything that you could possibly need which was a bonus too, with other smaller shops, pizzas, bakery etc. I would stay here again, but the only issue we did have was when we asked at reception on arrival if we could leave our luggage there as we were slightly early and leave our luggage there when we vacated, we got the answer of NO from reception staff as we were staying in a private apartment within the complex. So as you can imagine this put a dampener on the start and end of our holiday. If you do book at this complex then I do advise that you take this into account. We did contact the owner and he did say that he would contact reception, but in fact, we had to find an alternative place to hold our luggage for our last day as our flight was later that evening, which I will remember for next time. Overall this was the only issue we had. There is a lovely park at the top of the hill 5-10 mins walk with hens, rabbits, terra pines so a nice walk if you fancy a change.

Great apartment in a good location
Apartment is clean and well equipped,with a spacious balcony with lovely views. It is situated in walking distance of Benalmadena beach and the pleasant urbanization of Arroyo de la Miel. There are steps to this property and it is situated on a steep hill ,so guests with reduced mobility might be affected.

Great apartment for family
Lovely clean apartment in great location. Close to supermarket and plenty of places to eat out. Only short walk to beach. Perfect for three adults and three kids. Choice of two outdoor pools, we all enjoyed the daily pool side games and competitions and even won a bottle of cava! The owners were available on the phone and happy to help.

Great 2 bedroom apartment
This is a great 2 bedroom apartment, wells sized and clean. The Peublo Evita complex is well maintained and clean, there was darkly entertainment on for the kids. Would highly recommend staying here to everyone.

The apartment was in a great location, perfect for the beach and town. The resort had good facilities lovely pool and two restaurants. We had booked the two bedroom apartment which had the best terrace area we have ever had on holiday and having a barbecue just made it perfect . The only thing I would say, if anyone has difficulty walking this is not the place for you ,the apartment is at the top of a very steep hill and there are many steps. It would be great if the owner provides a shopping trolley. For the money we paid it was great value . Thank you

Very nice apartment
The apartment was very nice and had a great view over the tennis courts. The apartment is well equipped with the white goods and we got good use of the bbq aswell. Just a 5-10 minute walk to a lovely park. Loved it!

Very clean apartments great location with mountain views really close to the beach, bars & restaurants. Complex pools are great although roof top pool already closed for winter when we arrived which was a shame as fantastic views and not as busy as other pool. Would highly recommend apartments

Nice clean apartment in a good location
We enjoyed our stay here, particularly the lovely sunny balcony. It is only a short distance from both Benalmadena beach and the more typical Spanish town Arroyo de la Miel, where there are plenty of good bars and restaurants. There are a lot of steps as other people have mentioned but this was a not problem for us. We will stay here again and would recommend it.

Thank you Simon and Wendy for sharing your apartment with us. We had a great time we had everything we needed and your balcony was excellent. We couldn't get cd player to work guess it was just us old fogies. The area is excellent with plenty to do and see,we recommend going to Mijas for a day trip absolutely beautiful. Slight downside for us was pueblo evita hill or the steps we are not the fittest bunch but did not affect the great time we had,would recommend your apartment to everyone Peter and party

Fantastic Stay
This two bedroomed apartment is very well equipped, all the rooms were immaculate, the balcony itself was wonderful and so was the view from it with sunshine all afternoon. The barbecue was fantastic we used it twice. The apartments location was very near to shops, bars, supermarkets and the beach. Overall would highly recommend this apartment to anyone. We have just re booked for christmas.

Really friendly feel as you enter. Everything you need is on hand. Although the balcony doesn't have a sea view the outlook over the mountains is stunning. With plenty of room for a sunny lunch and afternoon through to dusk. Really nice complex but being part mountain goat will help.

We have stayed on the Pueblo Evita site twice before, including staying in Simon/Wendy's other lovely (1-bed) apartment last year, so obviously we like Pueblo Evita! This 2-bed apartment is well situated and has everything you could need including a large balcony, well-appointed kitchen/diner/lounge, a bedroom with a double bed, a second bedroom with twin beds and a handy washing machine for longer stays. The balcony includes a large table and chairs for al fresco dining and the tv has the basic channels needed to keep up with the soaps. It is handily placed for walking down Benalmadena beach or up to Arroyo, there are lots of bars and restaurants within easy walking distance and there is a large Mercadona supermarket just across the road!

Apartment in ideal location for beach, shops, rail and bus travel with amazing balcony.
Although holidaying in Spain in January is a hit or miss affair regarding weather, Wendy and Simon's apartment was ideal for our type of holiday as we spent the mornings travelling by train visiting Fuengirola and Torremolinos and walking along seafronts. Weather for January was excellent and sunny but still quite cold in the mornings.By the afternoon it was superb relaxing on the sunloungers on the apartment's large, sheltered and sunny balcony. We had a great week and would recommend this apartment to others.

We have just had a week long stay in this apartment (2 adults, 2 children (8 & 10). Would thoroughly recommend it. Everything catered for, decent sized bedrooms and BIG balcony. The complex is clean and tidy and the boys enjoyed the indoor pool (outdoor pools closed and indoor pool now closed until 27 January 2018). Excellent location for exploring the surrounding areas.

Another Great Holiday In This Perfect Family Apartment
Having stayed here before for a family holiday, we didn't hesitate to book again as we've found this apartment to be perfect for our needs. Our two young boys enjoyed every minute of it and are already asking when they can go back! Although a number of people mention the relatively steep but short hill that takes you past Sam's Bar and the Puerto Evita Reception on the left, there are a couple of other routes to access the apartment which some may find easier. Hiring a swipe card for the gates (3€ refundable deposit from reception) within the complex also help to keep walking to a minimum somewhat, especially if you frequent both the pool and Sam's Bar like we did. The apartment was clean and tidy on arrival and we had no complaints about the general condition of anything within. We'd even go so far as to suggest that the standard of the apartment would rival many hotel rooms that cost significantly more to stay in. Our only 'complaint' as such is that there's still no Wi-Fi access within the apartment itself. You can get this in Sam's Bar if you so wish but the reception are quite firm that the complex Wi-Fi is not available to private residences. This wasn't so much a problem for us as we were able to use data roaming on our phones which is becoming increasingly common these days. The beach front is a short walk (5 - 10 mins) away but we've found that some of the best places to eat are actually on the road that takes you there. Overall we would gladly book another holiday here and we couldn't ask for more from the owners who are very pleasant to deal with and are quick to sort any issues or questions.

when we go to Spain we always stay at Pueblo Evita. The staff at the club house and Sam's bar are all friendly. The apartment was lovely rooms nice and big and two balconies sun all day. we like to make our own meals so its handy having a supermarket across the road. There are plenty of thing to do and see, we like walking. we had a great week plenty of sun and we did rest sometimes.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We were 5 ladies between 40 and 50. Plenty amenities in walking distance. Very safe, secure. Short walk to the beach. Will be returning next year. Fantastic holiday.

A great find
This place suited us (2 adults and 2 boys, 5 and 8). It is perfectly located to explore Benalmadena and the surrounding areas. We didn't find the hill bad at all and also discovered that you could go further up the main road (passing the supermarket) and approach the property form the bottom, or cut through Sam's Bar and walk though the complex (we rented swipe cards in order to allow this - 3 Euros refunded when handed back in). The balcony is spacious and provided wonderful views. The owners responded to our questions promptly. There are many great resuarants within walking distance and we used Zip Transfers for a taxi - £20.58 each way.

Whilst the apartment was nice and clean. Getting too the apartment was a nightmare. If anybody should have any kind of walking difficulty then they should beware. I told the person when booking my wife and I had walking difficulty and was told it was a short walk up an hill? The hill is known locally as cardiac hill. If you are fit that is ok but every night for 2 weeks we had too get a taxinack too appartment.Also not accessible is the 2 swimming pools if you have difficulty walking. The bar also is at the bottom of cardiac hill.

Booked 2 bed apt and got 1 bed
We booked the 2 bed apt and the owner had got mixed up and gave us the 1 bed apt, as they don't live there, there was nothing they could do as others already gone into 2 bed... Ended up being really inconvienant .. The cot they provided collapsed when I put baby in, luckily the cleaner was there so managed to get another, not child friendly as advised by owner when first booked , 60 steps to access apt from the street, roof top pool up 6 flights of steps.. There are no lifts here... So made it impossible to go to indoor pool.. Carrying baby, pushchair, day bag and shopping was hard work Would only recommend apartment for couples and families without children.. Elderly also avoid Apartment itself was ok, however 2 bedrooms looked a lot more modern, which is what attracted us to it. Apartment hadn't been cleaned since last people departed so covered in dust, had to clean again as baby got filthy being on the floor Double bed was really noisy , kept waking baby up in the night if I turned over, also can hear upstairs go to the toilet as located above bedroom Positives - big balcony, everything supplied to be able to cook anything and unfortunately that's it.. Outdoor pool area great, bar lovely and also SAMs bar with happy hour.. Weather was fab for November and apartment was in a good location for us.. 5 min walk to windmill island, 15 min to harbour and 15 min to cable car and tovoli world However you can get a cheaper 1 bedroomed closer to harbour as I thought this worked out expensive in comparison to others ...

Reference the apartment booking as discussed with you there was some confusion unfortunately which is why we immediately agreed to refund the difference in cost, and are very sorry for any inconvenience this caused. We are really surprised by your negative comments on the cleanliness of the apartment as we've had no bad reviews prior to this, but this will be addressed. Although we do not reside in Spain we visit regularly and have maintenance at hand when required. Since your departure we have been to Spain to carry out any repairs, renewals and maintenance required including purchasing a new mattress for the 1 bedroom apartment resolving the noisy bed issue. Pueblo Evita is built into a hill as it is a traditional Andalucian style resort with the apartments being built in tiers. The complex is very popular for families with children, and can only apologise this was not to your liking.
