Wonderful Black Butte stay. Kitchen was well equipped and the beds were comfortable. Great location in the ranch close to Paulina springs and bike trails. Would definitely stay again.
Great stay at Black Butte Ranch. We have rented a few houses at BBR, but this was the first time in the Paulina Pool area. This is a gem of a location - easy access to a stream where the kids (4 and 6 yrs) enjoyed playing and outstanding trail access. Even pet friendly! We would definitely book again.
Our first family trip to Black Butte. This property has a great location and is very well stocked. Emily and Will really take time to make sure their place is all set for visitors.
This cabin was so cute and perfect for our group of 7. The ranch is fantastic and we went swimming and horseback riding! The owners were very responsive to any questions and the cabin had all the kitchen amenities we needed to make our meals. It was a great no-hassle trip! Highly recommend this cabin.
First and foremost, the owners have awesome communication and follow through. Our family had a great time at the house and on the bike paths. The house was cozy, family friendly and offered lots to do for all ages. I would highly recommend a visit to the Ranch if you haven't been before.
We had a wonderful time at the “basecamp” cabin. The cabin has everything you could possibly want from comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen, extra blankets, etc.. The house is located centrally in the ranch property, close to all the trails and facilities. Will and Emily are on top of it for communication, they made sure our check in was smooth and that we were warm by cranking up the heat before we arrived. All this at one of the more affordable prices at the ranch. Would definitely stay again.
My husband and I and our kids and grandkids. It was nice being near the Paulina Pool, kind of like having our own swimming pool, just steps away. The grands enjoyed being near the creek also. In past years we had to bike to get to this area. We did have one little thing we needed to talk to the owners about and they got back to us immediately. Overall, it was a great stay and time with family!
Home was small for two families but doable. Felt a bit dark and could have used a deeper clean (rotten items had been left in the fridge). Otherwise it met our needs as a home base for skiing. Would be a great location in the summer as it’s right next to one of the pools.
We brought our two dogs over 4th of July week to avoid the crazy fireworks at home. We had a fabulous time with them (And my parents!). If you walk up Hawks Beard a bit to the right and cross the street, it's national forest land and perfect for a completely isolated beautiful dog walk.
The house and deck were wonderful! Comfy mattresses, and fully equipped kitchen. The only suggestion I have is to buy a new knife set, or sharpen the existing knifes.
Thank you Will and Emily!
Absolutely wonderful home in a great location! We loved being so close to the creek, easy access to the meadow, and the house had everything we needed to enjoy the perfect vacation. Highly recommended for families.
Our family enjoyed a wonderful time at this well kept Black Butte cabin. The cabin was clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed and more. Communication with the owner was easy. We enjoyed the many activities the ranch has to offer.
There was just enough space for us to all move around and sit comfortably. The downstairs bedrooms have thin walls, but so long as you pack earplugs or share sleeping schedules with your roomies, it’s not a problem. We enjoyed the small details like extra coat hooks and a well stocked kitchen. And it was great to have the option to do laundry.
Great location on the ranch. Our family loves the board walk and springs. Best part was that we could bring our dog. We had a sunny day and a snowy day. The ranch is beautiful all year round in every weather. Kitchen was well stocked and living room was comfortable. All around perfect birthday weekend. Thanks!
