About this property

Walk to downtown and Amphitheater

  • Come enjoy the Bend, OR lifestyle. The Mallard house is located in the heart of the westside. 8 minute walk to downtown Bend through Drake Park. 2 blocks from Galveston ave and 4 blocks from Newport Ave. There are at least 8 breweries within walking distance to The Mallard house. All the best restaurants in Bend are also within walking distance. When we turned our home into a vacation rental we had two things in mind; inspiration and comfort. From the highly figured maple trim to the high thread count sheets nothing was cut short. The house was my father's and luckily I was given the opportunity to turn it into something unique. It was not the easiest house to upgrade, being built in 1918, it had it's own idea of what it wanted to be. So we compromised and the outcome is really special. I have it listed to sleep 4 one bed is a queen and one a full.
