Beautifully situated, well-appointed, nicely taken care of.
We had a fabulous time at the house. It is a little outside of Bend proper, in an absolutely gorgeous neighborhood overlooking the river. We had no intentions of really going into Bend for the evening, as the house is so beautiful and spacious that we just hung out there. We like to cook when we stay in our ski houses, and the kitchen had everything we needed and then some, including some spices and sugar, etc. in the pantry (which is always great so that you don't have to buy every little thing just to make a cup of coffee). The indoor hot tub was great, the beds were comfy, and the fireplace made everything cozy at night. The owner, Brett, was very responsive to questions that I had about things once we arrived at the house. We had seven sleeping there, but the house can accommodate more. We had eleven for dinner with plenty of room. There is a nice game room in the basement which we didn't use at all, but has ping pong, air hockey, darts, bags, and a pool table, plus a big screen TV. If we came back to Bend, we would stay here again in a heartbeat. Absolutely loved it! Thanks, Brett!

Very comfortable for a large group
We found Deschutes River Woods to be quite comfortable for our group. It was very quiet and private. We loved the huge, open common area and the views of the river were so peaceful. The huge deck is a great place to watch the sun go down through the trees or would be a serene spot to enjoy morning coffee (maybe in the summer when it is warmer in the mornings). The kitchen had everything we needed to make some wonderful meals. The indoor spa/pool was a special treat. Although we did not use the game room, it looked like it would be a fun place to play and had so much to do. All in all it was a wonderful place with lots to offer. Brett was very easy to communicate with and very quickly responded to a small issue that we had. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice quiet place with lots of room!
House was very close to all the action in Bend, but yet in a very quiet neighborhood with beautiful setting. We had 8 people and we were comfortable. A little short on seats at the dining table, but we made do. Hot tub and swim spa were nice.

Great stay for Bend
Stayed with 2 families with plenty of room on ski vacation to Mt. Bachelor. Pool was big hit with kids. Plenty of space for them to play. A little further from Bachelor than we would have preferred but convienent to downtown Bend and Old Mill. Clean and well taken care of.
