"Lovely spacious room and bathroom in what once would have been a very grand hotel. There are many beautiful features such as lead light, stunning staircase, beautiful ottomans in sitting rooms. Showing its age although there are signs of some improvements. Great central location. Very helpful and friendly reception. It would be good to have a few plates, bowls, cutlery, toaster so we could make our own breakfast or just have snacks. We did eat a meal there and it was nice. We would stay again."

"As a solo travel, the room is big for 1 or couple. Quite nice hotel. Spotlees, clean, bed is the best. Shower is great, not far from city, pub and small takaway accross the road. Everything is good. I would recommend."

"Lovely spacious room. Great for friends or staying for a few days. Bed was comfortable, shower was good and room clean and that’s all I need to be happy. There was enough parking. There was a flushing noise coming through a locked door every 15 mins and not sure what that was. Didn’t get to use pool. Staff were very professional and polite."
