Property and amendments were great. Close enough for purpose to other areas. Enough blankets for those few cold nights.
Thankyou for the stay. Would vome back.
We stayed for 2 nights over a weekend. Had everything we needed for a basic stay. Heater worked well in the loungeroom and there was plenty of bedding to stay toasty in bed.
Basic but homely , we purchased a clothes airer l and left it there as that was something we needed over a wet weekend - not a must have but we like to do washing as we go daily with 3 kids! Kids appreciated the board games and puzzle. Mum and dad appreciated the dishwasher !
Not sure why people were saying the place was unclean etc... it was absolutely fine for us, very clean and tidy.
Only gave 4 stars instead of 5 for two reasons.
Firstly the check in process seemed to leave us with no information on how to get into the place.
Secondly, just the kitchen could do with a few extra larger pots or pans, and maybe some larger bowls etc as current ones are tiny, only good for cooking for 1 person. With 4 adults needing a feed, we had to use two or more of everything to get the job done.

Freezing cold and not very welcoming or homey
I think some of the 10/10 reviews have been done by friends! The house is okay but not a 10. It is big enough for a family and in a quiet street. One heater in the lounge area is not enough for visitor comfort. It was freezing in the bedrooms. Small blower heater helped a bit. Not very homey. First place I have stayed with no books, no current tourist information, no games. Not child friendly. We had to move the glass coffee table so the 2 year old didn't hurt themselves or the table. Minimum supplies of everything: one tea towel, three dishwasher tablets, no tissues. Could be made more comfortable and visitor friendly.

The kitchen utensils are very poor no can opener the fry pans need to be replaced and there was no pot .luckily l brought my own lge pot or l couldn’t have cook for 6 of us .l had to go and buy toilet paper as we ran out .we could only watch 3 channels. There was no instructions for other remote and it didn ’t work anyway.
Overall it was dirty, windowsils, windows, curtains ,under beds real dusty, over dirty, couldnt open any windows, vaccums didnt work, our grandchildren ended up with croupe and bad asthma and hospital told us to have window open on him ,but couldnt when asked to come around it took 2 days,i have been on steriods because of the state of house ever sincewe got mixed messages from owner ,at the end we packed up and left 2 days before as i wasnf getting any better, it has put me off stayz forever as they didnt wont to help us,it kept going backto the owner,it shouldnt be a bnb, untill it is cleaned up and fixed,i wish we had more money to go when we were ofered to us,but we had to stat i ended up with nimomia and wasnt a real good stay, shy away from yhis house please

Arriving at the house all look good from the outside until we got inside. We wanted to cook dinner on night 1 but the pots and pans were totally unusable and the house was not swept or vacuumed it was actually quiet dirty, I contacted the owner and she gave a $50 refund for inconvenience. Since then I have messaged her TWICE about an ant infestation in the bathroom and the disappointment of the house and I have had no reply. I only stayed there coz I really had to as there was nothing else to move to in town, the fact of the matter it was ABSOLUTELY not worth the money I paid. There was no essentials like washing powder, no tea towels, no glad wrap etc.. cupboards and fridge were all dirty. There was blood on the towels, the light in one of the bedrooms was blown and obviously did not work. I do not recommend this property.
Backyard/lawn was unkept and full of weeds.
BBQ dirty/rusty and unusable.
KITHCHEN
Dishcloth, tablecloth, oven mitts dirty. Kitchen draws, shelves and floors were dirty/dusty. To cook with there was only1 small saucepan, 4 unusable frypans. 1 frypan was ok but still had egg on it from previous use.
No other cooking/serving/equipment/items available.
Glass doors to outside had no key to lock. Needed to use some force to engage the bottom snib to the floor so that the door wouldn't open freely. Not secure at all.
Very Disappointing Stayz.

Disappointing
Clean kitchen and bathroom, but musty smell throughout, dusty, macrame table runners dirty, long grass in backyard, and bed protector and mattress in second guest room stained and filthy.
Six adults staying - not enough crockery, cutlery or glassware (eg only 5 forks).
Plastic mattress protectors on very hard single mattresses in third bedroom felt awful and very noisy, and not necessary for adults! Nobody comfortable in their beds, master mattress very soft, all slept very poorly (we are all usually good sleepers and not fussy).
Clear instructions by homeowner on fridge helpful.
Best said by my wife, "everything a family needs and nothing it doesn't!" Thanks for the stay!

Photos of back yard dont match the real thing.
Rattly drafty window in Dining room, windows don`t open. Verandah floorboards half screwed down, garden used to store car bonnet and timber, garden hose thrown in backyard. Dead plants. Door to toilet would not close. Ceiling vents hanging out of ceiling. I don't understand how 8 people can rate this 5 stars.
This property was perfect for our work trip. We were very happy with it and the communication with Matthew was great. Would definitely recommend this property.
