Benicia,the Bay Area's best kept secret,has its downtown on the water w/stunning sunset & hill views,enjoying the best bay areas weather.Quaint fishing & boating mecca offers sport fishing guides & yacht clubs.Huge community pool rec center is nearby & it is but 1 mile walk walk to 1st Street Downtown, which is full of eateries,antiques & art. California's 2nd State Capitol,has a court house downtown, & the Camel barracks museums is nearby, & is full of very interesting local history.Many parks & numerous golfing opportunities. A summer Farmer's Market is on Main st every Thurs. Larry’s produce market in Fairfield & 6 Flags Park in nearby Vallejo.
The space
Features high speed Wi-Fi, a black & white Wi-Fi printer at library table desk w/ document shredder. There is a TRX strap & a nordic trak elliptical in the garage. We offer very comfortable adult bedrooms w/over sized beds plus bunk bed bedroom for kids, & we have pac-n-play portable crib & high chair, plus stairway safety gate. 60" 4D TV swivel wall mounted in the great room, w/ Direct TV streaming w/ sound bar. 2 Roku remotes in living room & master. Play station games in coffee table & nearly 100 DVD movies below TV table. Full kitchen with all the gadgets. Microwave glass pop corn popper for THE best popcorn. 2 ice chests. Propane deluxe Weber Genesis 3 burner bbq, has rotisserie & chip tray smoker w/ 4 different flavor wood chips. Patio radiant propane heater. Guest manual has local restaurant menus & points of interest. 2 patio tables, &numerous chairs & foot stools.
PLEASE NOTE: Two story & ALL bedrooms are upstairs. Bedrooms have privacy door locks.The doorbell is our motion detecting video/audio security recording monitor. We are set up for a TOTAL of ONLY 8 guests (over 2 years of age). Holiday Inn Express is 3 blocks away to accommodate unplanned for extras. There is a disincentive fee/penalty of $100/extra guest(s)/day. Please respect our space and our friends and neighbors nearby. And we have a city business permit displayed on site & pay the city 13% occupancy tax rate each quarter.
Guest access by Schlage electronic door lock.A unique door code will be generated & shared to you, timely to your arrival.
Please enjoy the privacy of our entire house, less our locked owner cabinets drawers & closets. Garage door use OK with fob opener remote on site, but it will be inventoried. Dog bowls, licking stick and dog house in back yard, plus a cushion in garage and in house ($25/day pet fee to be billed after departure, which will require guest’s affirmation to accept charges thru booking)
Other things to note
Local service professionals phone number on the posey board in kitchen. Fire extinguishers in kitchen pantry and upstairs linen closet, where you will find an emergency chain ladder for window escape, & an Ironing board with iron. In the kitchen pantry we have a first aid kit and emergency lighting, a vacuum & a hand vac. If you pay for your dog’s company, there are toys, an igloo doghouse, cushions in & out, feed bowls, plus an auto watering system @ rear patio- turn rear faucet only 1/8 turn & aim the diverter to auto fill attached bowl BUT PLEASE Turn all off at departure. Thx

This property was perfect for our family's trip to Benicia. Very comfortable and roomy enough for all of us. Nice neighborhood just a few minutes from everything we had planned. Communication with the owner was smooth and easy.

This house was exactly as described! It is clean and well maintained. With 4 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, a good kitchen, and large yard this property is perfect for a family vacation. We didn’t use the bunk beds but little ones would probably get a kick out of them! The check in/out process was very easy and the property owner was responsive to questions. The binder with local restaurant menus and activity recommendations was especially helpful. I would caution that this house is not the best for travelers with mobility issues. Not only are all the bedrooms upstairs but there is a step down from the front entryway to the living room and kitchen that multiple members of our party tripped on. It was a very minor issue and one that the property owner mentioned in the listing as well. All in all, we enjoyed our stay in this Benicia vacation rental and would certainly come back for future vacations!
