Perfect for a peaceful get away in clean fresh Vermont air!
10/10 Excellent
"This cottage is the perfect home-base for exploring southern Vermont. The personal touches and smallest details LJ has added to the home make it an exceptional stay. LJ is a fantastic host and very responsive to all communication, even quickly helping us when we had a user error with the lock (100% my fault). We all agreed that we got the best sleep we ever have in any rental we've stayed in. The loft is the best cozy cave ever! We are already looking forward to staying here again and continuing our explorations of the area."
"Had a great experience here. The staff was friendly and helpful. Chatting with the bartender and other guests at the bar over a nightcap made for an enjoyable evening. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was fantastic."
"Most importantly, our room was clean, nice, and quiet. No problems within the room, and I thought they offered a pretty nice room configuration for a hotel of their price range. However, outside of the room, the amenities were a little disappointing. The pool was not maintained (to be fair, it might have been too cold to merit that in mid-May). The laundry room did not look great, and the gym was marginally better, but both lacking for a hotel of this price range. Breakfast had hot food and was okay overall, though nothing special. Staff were friendly and mostly helpful for everyday things, but I didn’t feel entirely confident in seeking their assistance. Altogether, a nice room and just okay amenities, and a little expensive for its offerings, in my opinion."
"The first room we checked into had a random person staying in it. The hotel staff had no idea who it was. The second room we were upgraded into was not very clean. The room smelled, there were questionable stains on the bedding, and there was dirt on the floor. We could hear the TV from the room next to us all evening. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, or stay here again."
