"Our first stay here. Very cozy, quiet, clean, 2nd-floor room with comfortable mattresses. Heating/air conditioning easy to control. The breakfast spread was beautiful, and included an array of the freshest fruits, berries, dates, nuts, yogurt, muffins, juices, and really good coffee!"

"The pool was not available due to repair. The parking was limited (we had to walk up/down the hill to overflow parking). The faucet in our room made machine gun noise. The room was pretty big and clean. Deli was good. The restaurant bartender was very helpful. The shuttle bus service was great."

"Porches is a unique property, clean and modern but with remnants and reminders of what life was like when the mills were humming. The pool and jacuzzi are beautifully set under a canopy of foliage that makes it seem like a little Garden of Eden. Breakfasts were healthy and a helpful amenity when the cost of food can make dining out expensive. Thank you!"
