It’s a very spacious, quite and clean place. The surrounding area is beautiful. We stayed for two nights and are really impressed by what we got. It has all the amenities we need, the host provided plenty of tea, coffee, snacks, fruits, and a loaf of bread with a variety of jam and spread. We would definitely go back if we need to stay in that area again.

Gorgeous cottage, in a beautiful, quiet location on the Central Coast, away from all the hustle of summer holiday makers, but still close to everything.The house was immaculate, with wonderful touches like a load of bread with jams and spreads, and books to read.A place to come back to! We had a very relaxing stay at Kookaburra cottage. The cottage really lived up to its name with lots of Kookaburras to watch when chilling out on the balcony. Beautiful location with lots of trees, birds and green lawns all around. The extras of fruit, bread and spreads provided by the hosts on arrival were very much appreciated. Thanks for the lovely stay!

This is a comfortable and attractively decorated home in a beautiful tranquil setting. We loved the stone work in the shower that provided a great foot massage. The hosts were very helpful with local knowledge questions and gave great recommendations when asked.

Lovely peaceful place

A quick overnight stay; would have liked to have stayed longer. The cottage is lovely and in a beautiful peaceful quiet place, definitely heard plenty of kookaburras at dusk. I loved the mid 20th century decor and furnishings. Everything was comfortable, just a great place to spend a night or a week.

The property was easy to find and in a peaceful area. Its located 10mins from the beach and national park. Loved the little touches the hosts left for us like snacks and toiletries. The shower was so big and bedrooms very roomy. Y.

We recently stayed at this charming cottage during our Easter break, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. The cottage itself is incredibly cozy, equipped with all the amenities you could possibly need for a comfortable stay.The hosts were wonderful, providing breakfast and fruits for our stay, which was a lovely touch. The environment around the cottage is stunningly beautiful and tranquil, offering a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life.Its location is ideal, being close to Avoca Beach, Terrigal, and Killcare, making it easy to explore these lovely areas. Overnight stay

Our Stayz was only for one night and we did see the website to know that the home was beautifully decked out in antique furniture and period fitting pieces but when opening the cupboards and seeing even the plates were period fitting, etc. was such a beautiful touch. And so were the added extras that you never usually see at a Stayz included fresh fruit in the fridge along with fresh milk, butter, and condiments also a fresh loaf of sourdough on the kitchen bench, and there were chocolates!!!!! just perfect as was the cleanliness of the House and property. If there was to be any fault, the lack of Wi-Fi was disappointing, but hopefully an easy fix. Thank you for a touch of history

Clean and fresh with very comfy beds. The kitchen had everything we needed for a short stay, and a lovely fresh fruit bowl, a loaf of bread and some yummy gluten free biscuits. Butter and milk in the fridge.The only issue I had was I was cold! Yes, there is a reverse-cycle airconditioner in the living area, but no other heating, not even in the freezing cold bathroom.The bed was nice and warm though.It was peaceful and quiet and has a nice outlook and yes, Kookaburras calling in the morning.I'd probably stay again but not in Winter!
