I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and would def return again in a heartbeat. The location along Lake Chapin was peaceful and scenic and wish I had more time to enjoy the location, views, and amenities, including numerous canoes and other watercraft. The home was well-furnished and the kitchen had everything needed to prepare meals. Lastly, the owners were terrific, friendly, and responded immediately -- 5 stars across the board, thank you!

Lovely, relaxing home

This is a lovely place that is well appointed with a beautiful view of the lake. The couches, chairs and mattress were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything I needed. I would love to stay here again.

We had a very nice stay. The property was clean and well maintained. The only down side was that over the air cell phone connection with Verizon. There was WiFi service at the house that was free so you could connect to make calls and use a tablet.

Short n sweet weekend

Great little place! Perfect for our short weekend trip for a family wedding. We loved the quiet setting. The deck was the perfect spot for our morning coffee. We would like to come back when we have more time to enjoy the lake.

Peaceful stay

I have stayed at this property numerous times and enjoy it every time. The location is super quiet but in short distances to restaurants, hiking, bird watching, grocery stores and many more. The owners are super responsive, usually within minutes! You will have great privacy and a perfect space to relax and recharge. I absolutely love the deck and view from it. We will stay there again for sure.

My fiancé and I stayed here for our 2 year Anniversary weekend getaway as we we were also scoping out venues for our wedding reception. This Cozy Lake Chapin house was so cute, quite, and perfect for us with some amazing views of the lake.

Fall getaway

This was a lovely fall getaway for my husband and me! It is a very peaceful location and we enjoyed relaxing on the balcony with the view of the lake and the beautiful fall colors. The guest house was clean, comfortable, and well stocked. The hosts were readily available and responded quickly to any questions we had. Would definitely like to visit again!

Great lakefront getaway

We really enjoyed our stay at this place and would stay again if in the area. We took advantage of the canoe and kayaks that were supplied and explored the beautiful lake. We also couldn't get enough of all the hummingbirds that visited the deck area. It is a very pet friendly place and spacious for our dog to stretch her legs and the grounds that lead to the lake are kept up very well!

Visiting for a wedding

The hostess was super nice. We didn’t realize that they lived next door until we met her. We thought she was a quest next door. They respected your privacy. Very clean and modern inside. Rustic charm on the outside. Very comfortable.

Nice Rustic Getaway

Attached unit on the water near Lake Chapin provided for quiet anniversary recreation. Entry was easy and we were provided privacy. Rooms are spacious and clean. Back deck and waterfront are very relaxing. Jenny was responsive throughout our stay. Rainy day led us to the Niles-Buchanan YMCA. Dinner in nearby Bridgman brought us to the big lake. W/D was useful. Spices, coffee and some creamer provided. To-go coffee cups were a nice touch.

Wonderful house!

This house is great! Very clean, spacious, and exactly as described on the listing. My husband and I stayed here after a Notre Dame football game and it was really easy to get to from South Bend. Only about a 30 minute drive. Wish we would have had more time to enjoy the house and the beautiful deck overlooking the river! William and Jenny were wonderful hosts and easy to get in contact with. She found my watch not long after we left and tried to contact me before we got too far. We were far enough that we didn’t want to turn around so she is mailing it to me. And I appreciated the to go coffee mugs they had available! It’s the little things! 😀 We would definitely stay here again.

We were so happy with the property, the perfect getaway with our pup. The back deck was great for an evening glass of wine and we were surprised to see two pairs of swans gliding along the lake our first night there. Our pup had fun chasing the boat waves while we relaxed on the shoreline. Close to so many great dog friendly places. We will definitely be back for a longer stay in the future!

Clean home, adorable setting, great views. Attached to a home and not detached would have been nice to know. I would say it comfortably sleeps 3-4, not 6. Otherwise we had a great experience!
