I loved this property. Although it felt like an overgrown campground, it offered all of the things that any family would want - pool, beach, volleyball, game room, etc, etc. My husband and I were only there for the night but we were very happy there - climbing out on the rocks (climber responsibility) and had a lovely stressfree stay.

I loved that it has its own private beach area, swimming pool and entertainment room for the kiddos, I didn’t like the check inn time. You pay good money and can’t check inn tell later on in the early evening. There was No complementary breakfast but I did enjoy the restaurant that is recommended with your stay, I didnt receive my 10% off dinner even when I mentioned I was a guest at the hotel. I feel that for the price I payed for a one night stay would off been better. I would stay again when it’s not a holiday weekend.

The check in process was long and tedious. Printing out each form as you are standing there is time consuming especially when there are several customers waiting. As for the rooms, they are nice. I think they will regret buying gray linens, they will show wear and tear quickly. I was not pleased they removed the safety lock on the door, considering it is an outside door that seems unsafe to me. The pool and grounds were neatly maintained and very pretty.

The property is in a great location, right on Lake Michigan. The sunset views are beautiful and truly breathtaking. There is also a nice small playground for children. Unfortunately, the room was very outdated. The description of the room we booked was also misleading and did not accurately reflect what we received. The amenities were disappointing as well. The gym was very dirty, the game room was disorganized, and there was algae growing on the walls of the pool. Overall, the location and views were outstanding, but the condition of the room and facilities fell well below our expectations for the price paid.

The sunset view was beautiful, the room was very comfortable and easy access to the pool, firepit and hot tub. Short drive for dining and entertainment in south haven downtown. Patty at front desk was very nice and informative. It was very peaceful and relaxing and thats what I was looking for. Will definitely return in future.
