This cottage is normally NOT available Memorial Day to late August as it rents with another cottage.

Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
You are our guests, leave beds, toss towels on floor in shower, get computer and phone cords & turn off lights.
Remove any subscriptions from TV. We can't be responsible for their use after check out.
Please start a wash load of beach towels if used as they take so long to dry. Thank you.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Rules

Contract must be signed and emailed or texted within 5 days of booking. Pool Waiver may be signed upon arrival when we show you how to use pool.
South Haven has noise curfew rules. Weeknights 10pm Friday and Saturday 11pm move noise inside. Pool house closed at posted hours.
Pre-approval required. It must sleep on dog bed or crate, not permitted on furniture. Must be on flea/tick treatment Dogs must be leashed at all times

Perfect getaway

Soothing South Haven Cottage

Beautiful cottage near Lake Michigan and the charming marina town . The cottage was comfortable, fully equipped and lovingly decorated. Marta provided extra attention to details and communication was prompt. We would love to stay here again !

Wonderful weekend getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in South Haven. This 1 bedroom cottage was perfect and the cheese and wine upon arrival were much appreciated! My only negative feedback is the couch is a little dated and uncomfortable but everything else was amazing! Super easy access to the beach with all the necessary beach equipment provided. Loved that we had access to laundry and that our dog could stay with us as well. We were permitted to use the main house’s front porch which was nice since no one was in that house during our stay. Would love for the property to add an EV charger.

Vacation

We were greeted by the manager, she was very helpful with showing us around, how to use the codes and the entire property. We stayed a week, there were lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Only negative was there weren't many pet friendly areas.

We stayed in cottage A, one bedroom. We were more than happy. The cleanliness, the comfortable seating/bedding was more than what we expected. The wine, cheese and carmels were such a great treat after driving all day. Thank you! Thank you Marta! We had a wonderful fall getaway in South Haven

Great Location!

You can walk everywhere! Beach is right across the street, North beach down the road, Town is easily accessibly by crossing the bridge. If you get tired of walking, you can walk right over to Golf Cart rental. Rental is very clean and goes above and beyond to accommodate guests with carts, bikes, incredible outdoor space with pool, deck, chairs, tables, all maintained VERY well....not broken down, or old, highly recommend!

The house was very good organised and clean. Nice appliances and perfect personal staff. The communication with host was excellent. We stayed at the property couple days. It’s a great place for all seasons: close to the beach and downtown of South Haven. We visited New Year’s Eve celebration. It was great event in the city. Thank you for a great experience!

Perfect stay

Cozy, well appointed, one-bedroom cottage. Very clean. Well maintained. Great amenities. Well stocked with lines, dishes, utensils, plates, condiments. Convenient laundry facilities and ample parking behind complex. Even complementary bottle of red wine and cheeses. Ideal location for exploring shores of Lake Michigan. Walking distance to South Haven downtown, harborwalk, and marina. Being mid-March, we couldn't take advantage of all outdoor amenities of pool and cookout equipment, but the kitchen facility was more than adequate. Beach and park across the street. Happy to visit again and highly recommend as there is a two-bedroom cottage and house to rent on property.

Lovely little place!

This was a great option for a short stay, even though we came right before the pool opened! It was so close to the beach we could see the water from the window, and close enough to town to walk in. Marta was quick and complete with communications, and the place was clean and well set up for us to arrive. Would totally stay here again! Thanks Marta

Short and sweet

My husband and I spent a couple days in the one bedroom cottage, which was very cute, clean and so comfortable! Upon arrival, the host left us a treat basket and a bottle of wine, which was such a pleasant surprise as we were there to celebrate our anniversary. The location was great, across the street from Lake Michigan and a short walk to downtown South Haven area. We would love to come back with more family and enjoy the pool! It’s a great property, you won’t be disappointed.

Perfect Birthday Trip

This was a perfect place to stay for a weekend birthday trip. Marta was so nice. The property was available hours earlier than expected. We loved the complimentary grills and fire pits. The location to the beach was so convenient. It was a great place to stay with our dog. We definitely want to come back!

Relaxing and therapeutic!!

Who knew that sand and snow combined would be just what we needed! As soon as we walked into our cottage getaway, the cozy space welcomed us with a beautiful kitchen, large TV and the bed was really comfortable!! We felt secure, we felt the kitchen was well supplied and the town was welcoming and friendly! We'd love to come again and bring our family!!

Easy Lake Living!

We loved our stay in the 1 bedroom cottage in South Haven. We really enjoyed the pool; our first experience using a saltwater pool and we loved it! We also were so thankful for how close we were to the beach which allowed us to enjoy a long morning walk and back for a sunset kayak paddle.. Having the bike rack on the property was a nice touch. Plenty of house bikes to use but we brought our own and felt good locking them up on the rack. All the amenities were great however my favorite part of the stay was the lovely original artwork all through out the property, which made it feel like home. The outside foundation provided both beauty and coveted any street noise. We hope to return next year!!
