112 acres Located in the foothills of the Ouachita Mountains near Hot Springs, Arkansas, Totality 2:38 Eclipse 2024 Camping is hosting primitive campsites for the Total Solar Eclipse on April 8, 2024. Avoid the crowds and traffic by staying with us for this once-in-a-lifetime event in a peaceful setting with plenty of sky visibility and minimal light pollution. Located outside the Benton city limits and half an hour from Hot Springs, the eclipse duration will be a full 2 minutes and 38 seconds of Totality (100% obscuration). Bring your own RV or tent to pitch (no RVs, campers or tents will be available onsite).
Reservations are for a minimum of 2 nights beginning at 12:00 noon Sunday, April 7 and ending at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, April 9. Early arrival beginning on Thursday, April 4 can be made for up to 5 nights with an additional fee. Each site allows a limited number of vehicles and people (2 vehicles and 6 people). All tent and RV campsites are primitive sites (no electricity, water, or sewer services). An on-site porta potty will be available on a limited basis; however, no showers or sinks will be available onsite. Nearby amenities provided by Riverside Grocery include food, live music, karaoke (Thursday night) and outdoor activities (the North Fork River is accessible from the property). There is limited picnic table space near the river.
