"No POOL! На мой вопрос - а где же бассейн? Был дан идиотский ответ - вон там море, там и купайтесь! Море необорудованное, все очень запущенное, лежаков мало и они обычно поломанные, нормальный есть только один. За кондей требуется доп/оплата 3000 рупий. Холодильника в номере стандарт нет, но хоть разрешили пользоваться холодильником в столовой, но часто его отключали чтобы включить вентилятор. В целом персонал старается помочь, однако руководство недружелюбно. Больше чем на 1 ночь...

"No one in reception on our arrival (2pm). When shown to our room nothing was explained, ie, where and when to get breakfast, as I happens it was in the next hotel song. The pool shower was also in that hotel. In our room the a/c had only 2 positions, on and off, therefore at night either to hot or in a cold draft. And the shower drain was blocked!! "

"It is poorly managed and run down place. Pro - Beach is 200m away after crossing open train tracks. Cons - Run down old house - next to the train tracks (last train at midnight and the first at 3am) the whole room will vibrate with noise. - consistent power cuts and they dont have back up power source ( temp was around 32c) - There was no AC remote in the room and was made to pay UDS 10 to get the remote or you can burn in the heat. "It was wonderful to return here - I love this hotel. The gardens are beautiful and the beach is clean and fabulous for swimming and long walks. The staff are outstanding. In many years of travel I don’t think I’ve ever seen a hotel staff member more dedicated than the pool guy (pool is great for swimming laps too - 25m). The housekeeping team were great too - and surprised me daily with towel ‘art’ and flowers on the bed. Excellent food too! "

"First time in Sri Lanka. Simply one of the best hotels we have stayed in anywhere. Friendly, courteous staff who couldn't do enough for us, a superb room with a balcony offering a beautiful beach view. We stayed five nights and didn't bother to eat anywhere else - the food was excellent. We wanted to take the chef home with us. We took long walks along the beaches and spent a lot of time in the wonderful hotel grounds and by the very stylish infinity pool. We want to visit Sri Lanka again soon...

"It was wonderful to return here - I love this hotel. The gardens are beautiful and the beach is clean and fabulous for swimming and long walks. The staff are outstanding.
