"Explorer Hotel Berchtesgaden exceeded our expectations. The rooms -- with all having an amazing view -- provides a very efficient use of space. The breakfast buffet is outstanding -- offering an array of delicious items. And the service staff was top notch. And you can't find a better location to the popular attractions. Bus line 840 and 843 is a quick 10-minute trip from the Berchtesgaden train station. And the boat ride and Jennerbahn are 1 and 2 bus stops respectively. If you are an active person who wants great accommodations and easy access to the attractions of Berchtesgaden National Park, you will be hard pressed to find a better option. "

"Stayed three nights. Great location to walk to the Berchtesdgaden HBF station and get around the area. Clean, staff were helpful and friendly. Very quiet and relaxed overall. Restaurant was very good as well"

"The breakfast quality was excellent and the waitresses wore traditional dress, reception was very helpful, the room was lovely although a little small but did have tea & coffee making facilities and a balcony from which we could see the eagles nest ( when the clouds cleared ) so all in all fabulous place 2 minutes drive from town which was perfect for us. Hotel is surrounded by lot of hikes trails and historical significance. very close to Berchetsgarden and Konigsee one of most photogenic town. Hotel ambiance is very pleasant, staff is very professional. Restaurants has one of best fine dining restaurant and wonderful breakfast services."
