Our family-run farm, featuring the two chalet suites “Glücksgefühl” and “Lebensfreude,” offers everything you could wish for during an unforgettable and relaxing getaway. Soak up the sun on the balcony with a breathtaking view, grill on your own terrace, enjoy moments of relaxation while petting our alpacas, or simply unwind in front of the Swedish stove—there’s truly something for everyone here.
Since the two chalet suites are located in the same building, the accommodation is also perfect for groups—everyone has their own space, yet you’re still close together on your shared holiday.

Cosy holiday apartment in a modern chalet style, designed with high-quality natural materials. With two bedrooms, each featuring its own bathroom, the apartment can accommodate up to four people. The shared living area—complete with a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, sofa, and TV—invites you to relax, and a Swedish wood-burning stove adds to the warm, cosy atmosphere. A special highlight is the balcony, accessible from all rooms, offering unobstructed views of the Berchtesgaden mountains. Happiness guaranteed—as you gaze out the panoramic window, you can watch our alpacas playing in the pasture.
Situated in an idyllic, secluded location, the family farm is about a five-minute drive from the town of Berchtesgaden, at the foot of the Untersalzberg. The farm offers the ideal location for excursions in all directions. Whether by boat across Lake Königssee, by gondola up the Jenner, by mine train into the salt mine, or on foot through Salzburg’s Old Town—all the highlights you shouldn’t miss on a holiday in Berchtesgaden are less than a 30-minute drive from us.
If you’re travelling by public transport, the Watzmobil service might be particularly appealing to you. This bus takes you almost right to our doorstep, giving you flexibility even without a car.
We—that is, my husband, myself, and our two young sons—love our life in Berchtesgaden, and we spend most of our time optimizing the work on the farm, caring for our alpacas, and, of course, the most important thing of all: watching our children grow up.
Four generations of our family live together on our family farm, so our guests will always find someone happy to help with tips for day trips and hikes.
