"AVOID. Difficult to know where to start. This apartment was mis-sold, as it is student accommodation (10 bedrooms per flat). Each guest has shared access to the common room, housing the kitchen and sofa. On check in (after a long on-line book in process (crashing server)), the common room was inhabited with other guests, who were cooking tea. The bins were overflowing and the place generally stank. "Beautiful setting, the cabin was very clean and well equipped. Hosts were very friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Great place to break up our journey and well located to site see as well. Would definately stay again . "

"We stayed for two nights to celebrate my 60th birthday. The hotel has such character and is on a beautiful island with amazing views in every direction. We particularly enjoyed a swim in the mermaid pool and dinner in the Pilchard Inn. The highlight was dressing for dinner and dining in the grand ballroom on my birthday. Our room, The Bentley Room, was beautifully decorated with a very comfortable bed and a balcony with fantastic views. We loved the history of the hotel and island and found the staff extremely helpful. We will definitely be back! "

"A lovely night at the Jamaica inn to break up our journey from the Midlands to Lands End. The family room was lovely - clean and comfortable and had all the am you need for a stay over.
