"Let me start by saying that hotels in Stockholm are way more expensive than in other Nordic countries, so it is important to keep your expectations in line with local reality. Checking in and out was extremely fast and easy. Staff members were very friendly and helpful, and the premises were well kept despite the building's old look. Rooms were reasonably clean and functional. Amenities were very good, and breakfast was both diverse and delicious. The location was excellent, with several shops and restaurants around. There is still and sparkling water available to refill guests' bottles and game boards for free."
"The Haymarket was just about the best place you could stay in Stockholm. It is a 4 minute walk from the central subway and bus stations. It is in the middle of a busy and vibrant shopping district, and yet the hotel is quiet. There are three restaurants on the premises, all excellent. The hotel is gorgeous, and the beds are comfortable. The staff was uniformly helpful."
"The location is so convenient to ferry, bus and tram to anywhere you want to go, five minute stroll to each. But the hotel is set back from the street so you don't get the noise. Best of both worlds there! Or just walk around this gorgeous place to find yourself in a tranquil forest, an open-air museum, a prince's estate, a fun park, a cafe or restaurant... you really have everything on the island to enjoy your stay without leaving.
The grounds of the hotel are beautiful and peaceful. There's a large sauna too.
The breakfast is fantastic. A great range of food and large, well-spaced tables so you don't feel crowded. The only tiny thing I would change: provide cow's milk among the range of other milks (e.g oat, lactose-free).
Overall, I won't even bother looking for another hotel next time I'm in Stockholm. This is the place to be."
"The hotel was very clean, staff were very friendly, and the overall place was beautiful and well maintained. The breakfast is also very solid for hotel food."
