An old style cozy hotel with private parking. Quite neighborhood, very close to Acropolis. The interior courtyard, very beautiful and peaceful make us fill great. Breakfast was included and plentiful. A good balance between price and what they offered. Definitely we recommend the place.

This family-run hotel is authentically Turkish. Some guests will love it, some will not. The hotel owner and staff are eager to please; they are very nice people. One of the owners went out of his way to help me with a bus ticket and even drove me to the bus station. The “garden” is pleasant for dining; you can use it like a hotel lobby. Breakfast was so-so. There’s a limited dinner menu, but nicely prepared. The rooms have little space to move around in or to put belongings. Inet connections can be unreliable. The hotel needs a thorough cleaning. My bathroom had an unpleasant smell and a suspicious black blob on the floor; yes, the dog had left a deposit. Tip: the hotel is located at the top of a steep, cobblestoned street; inside, the hotel has many high steps.

It was an old school traditional house nice decorations. Roo, was relaxed and large enough. Breakfast served in the garden was amazing and the staff was very friendly. they need to seal the shower doors better because water is leaking out and there is a need for a squeegee to clean the water. Except that everything was great!

Arrived and no one there only a phone number and as we don’t have a phone couldn’t ring them! Landed up driving round ridiculously narrow streets but luckily unscathed. Old school house with lots of character and breakfast was good

This is a really nice boutique hotel with friendly staff and we enjoyed our stay. It has a charming courtyard to sit in, is in the old town and very close to Pergamon which is what we went for. Other than breakfast (which was good) there wasn't really catering in the hotel but there were places to go nearby. Bergama is a fairly small and traditional town (read between the lines, almost all places were no alcohol) but we were there to see the history which was great and very interesting and for that this hotel was ideal for us.

The hotel with nice old town atmosphere and a nice staff. It has a good location for those who explore ancient metropoly and it's sacred rehab center nearby. The room has some issues, but not serious. Anyway it was OK for me considering the price I've paid.

Property has a lot of potential and can be charming. The room we stayed in needs a proper cleaning. Lots of dust, musty scent and bathroom area floods after shower. There was a wedding party next door (no fault of the property owner) making sleep possible only post festivities. The location is super convenient in the old town and can be a great place to stay.

Two night stay with parents to visit Pergamos

Nice styling boutique hotel in restored old house. Atmosphere is really nice inside but of course need to accept a little bit non standard furniture. Good breakfast in private garden. Good view from windows in both sides. The parking is available in just 50 meters. The main issue is bar nearby with live music till 1 am on Friday. But at the same time it’s chance to hear good Turkish live music.

Bergama old town

This hotel is very much in the ‘faded grandeur’ class, which is what we liked. The room was huge (a suite with 2 rooms actually) but the main drawback was the tiny bathroom with a shower which indeed leaked, although there was a squeegee and a handy drain. No mosquito protection but luckily we didn’t see any. Breakfast in a very pleasant courtyard. Friendly dog and beautiful affectionate cat. Nice staff, not much English spoken so don’t rely on them for planning trips or transport, etc. Air conditioning fine. Brilliant position in the old town under the acropolis near the Red Basilica and walking distance to Asclepion.

Love Bergama

Thank you to Ilknur who is a beautiful, kind and helpful hostess. The guesthouse is a charming renovated seminary build in the late 1900's. It needs some further updating in terms of plumbing and maybe wiring. I stayed 4 nights in 2 different rooms and both had water damage and a smell of damp mold. Breakfast is adequate. Enjoy it in the back garden under the mulberry tree. Weekends are noisy if your room is located near the bar next door. All in all I loved my stay here in the old cobbled lanes of Begama at the foot of the Acropolis. Price is right. Location bursting with charachter and friendly locals including a vast menagerie of cats and dogs.

We had a nice stay here. The room was clean, the host, Sabuha was so kind and helpful she made us feel welcome. The breakfast was great, my friend said breakfast in turkey is her favorite meal of the day. A huge perk to staying here was the espresso machine. It made the chilly morning perfect. A good cup of coffee is essential!

The hotel is in the old town part of Bergama. Lots of character!Our room was very small. The bed was against a wall so one person would have to crawl over the other to get in or out. Aside from that, it’s fine. My suggestion is to spend the extra $10 or whatever and get a larger room. The breakfast is a typical Turkish. The bread was really good!

Great neighborhood and staff.

Great neighborhood in the Old City. Close to the Pergamum acropolis if you are able to walk it. Owner was great about being there to meet my late arrival from Izmir.

We reserved this hotel by looking at the pictures on Expedia. When we checked in we realized that the room we were given was to small, noisy and inconvenient. The pictures on the site are deceiving.
