Fantastic location, close to Paradis and Downtown. Grocery store less than 100m from condo, very convenient. Condo was perfect size and very nice and modern. Would prefer and recommend over hotel any day!

This apartment is a very basic comfortable space. The furniture is limited as are the kitchen utensils and dishware. The rental company will provide shampoo and one small bar of soap. No lotion, no conditioner. No spices or salt and pepper or cooking spray or olive oil. There is a clothes washer, but no dryer. But it is a clean space and walkable to transit. The immediate area is also very basic, but comfortable. Yes- there is graffiti, but also a neighborhood market. Yes- people may be picking through the trash, but there isn’t any trash on the street. So, it’s not high end, but it is very approachable. And it is nice to have two bedrooms when most hotels would cram you into too small beds in one small room. Plus, it is typically quiet at night and that is lovely.

I had hard time finding the property since Expedia had different address. It was also my fault that I didn't check the emails. Other than that, everything was great.

This was a good place to stay. Within walking distance of so much to do and eat. Nice mini mart close by too. Was hot at night so kept the windows open and then noisy. But overall very good. Clean!

the apartment is too small for 3 persons extra bed provided was terrible not water view as per picture over 5000 korona for cleaning and they never show up once in 10 days and ask us to leave it as clean as we found it

Thank you for your feedback. Sorry to hear that you were not happy about your stay. Our one-bedroom apartment is meant for 2 people, but it is possible for guest to be three by adding an extra bed. This is not recommended for longer periods, as it will be tight, but some prefer this option as it is more economic than a larger apartment. Unfortunately, we do not offer any views, but the apartments are in nice areas by the water with lovely promenades. Hope that you managed to have a nice time in Bergen.

The place was extremely difficult to find and the instruction was confusing. The manager was somewhere else in Norway and she did know what she was talk about. We had two local to talked to her and still could not find the place in about one hour. Plus I did not get a parking place even for one night inspite being told that parking is available.

In regards to parking it is subject to avaialbility, and need to be booked in advance. I cannot see that you had asked about this. Nevertheless, I hope that you were able to have a nice stay in Bergen!

The apartment was not where it was advertised to be. It was not on the water or even near the water but was in a non-descript area and the view was of other buildings.

Average despite good location
So the apartment is very spacious but it was not facing the water like all the photos show. The apartment is a bit dated and the sofa too small for two people to sit at conformably. There was one cereal bowl for two people. The bed was too bouncy and when one person moved so did the other. The pillows were awful and provided zero neck support. The location was good. My main issue was the apartment smelled of smoke on arrival and despite my email we only got a 'thanks for your feedback' response.

obs last minute hidden fees
I had paid for the stay in advance through hotels.com. When I arrived and met with the employee, he asked me for my credit card... I had to pay another 25% of the total amount for housekeeping, before he would hand over the keys. Even if the apartment was in perfect condition, perfectly clean and in great location. This is a reason for me not to stay with them again. I do not support a system that operate this way.

Great location
Really clean apartment that was located in a great area. We loved having a grocery store on the street level. If we come back to Bergen we would stay here again. Check in was very smooth.

Pay a lot, get a little, and then pay another 25%
If you like surprise charges and non-transparent prices, you'll love this. Beware--the price you are considering (nonrefundable by the way!) is not the real price -- just add 25% you will pay for a cleaning fee, payable on check-in. And leave it clean and take out your own trash. We could have gotten two rooms in the city center (Bryggen) for what we paid for an apartment at this place. It's a big new apartment building, decent location, clean, all worked ok. Bergen is great, but look for a closer-in lodging option that actually tells you what the price is.

Location is good and in a reasonable distance from the city center. The bed was terribly uncomfortable. The sofa bed was not setup at our arrival.

The sofabed are usually prepped but not set up as most guests likes to chill on the sofa together before setting up the bed - but we will take this to concideration for later. Thank you! In walking distance from city centre with nice view on the bay. Only downside was that something (sinkholes?)was regularly reeking in the bathroom.

Nice size apartment but not ideal location
10 minutes walk to the city. Pre arrival I sent 4 emails and had to make a phone call in order to get in contact. Was sent 2 different street addresses one by email and one text message. Then the first apartment did not match the hotels.com bedding configuration so had to change apartments. Difficult to get to with luggage using bus as the road has a lot of construction going on. Great size for families but too inconvenient and should have booked a hotel instead.

Har bodd her nesten en måned grunnet oppussing hjemme. Dette var et glimrende alternativ til hotell. Leiligheten lå sentralt i forhold til butikker og buss/bane. Har hatt et fint opphold her.

Fint opphold i Bergen
Fin og ren leilighet,nær offentlig kommunikasjon. Men dumt at man ikke får vite hvilken leilighet man får før man ankommer. Vi trodde vi fikk en annen leilighet enn det vi fikk.

아주 훌륭한 숙소
근래에 다녀 본 주방이 있는 숙소 중 최고였습니다. 실내도 깨끗하고 넓었으며, 무엇보다도 창 밖의 뷰가 환상적이었습니다. 주차도 편리하였고, 주변에 키위 마트가 있어 식료품을 구하기도 쉬었습니다. 정말 편안한 숙소였습니다.

flott leilighet. når man er 4 stk burde det være 4 muligheter å henge fra seg håndkle på badet. Tv funket ikke, og vasken var tett. Eller så var det topp. Kanskje parkering kan komme tydeligere frem...

Die Wohnung war insgesamt in keinem guten Zustand. Der Boden war klebrig und staubig. Durch die Fenster konnte man vor lauter Dreck kaum durchschauen. War aber nicht so schlimm, zu sehen gab es eh nix. Wohnung war ebenerdig, dementsprechend der Blick auf andere Häuser. Insgesamt sehr enttäuschend und nicht annähernd so, wie es die Bilder suggerieren. Die Bewertung betrifft das Apartment in der Damsgardveien 42.
