Facilities within the hotel were good. We chose a room with a mountain view and that was what we got with a good view of the city as well. Negative aspect, we were a group of 3 adults sharing using a family room. There were only cups and coffee making facilities for 2. Not what you would expect when you have booked for 4. We would certainly use the Scandic Group again.

This is a very nice hotel with an excellent daily brunch. The most disappointing amenity was the $18.00/person for the pool usage.

Awesome hotel! Nice rooms, great service, a cool bar and literally the best buffet breakfast I’ve ever had anywhere in the world! Truly has to be experienced to be believed!

This is a beautiful hotel and very clean. But holy guacamole was it loud at night. There is a night club downstairs and our room was bumping, literally pulsing, at night. Also free breakfast set up is a pretty cramped one. We have stayed in a lot of nordic hotels with their amazing free breakfasts but this is one of the more tight squeezes for the amount of people. I would still stay here again but knowing I need earplugs to sleep and a prayer to get the side with the lake.

Hotel Norge - Christmas cheers!
We had an amazing Christmas break in Bergen, and the hotel was fantastic. Relaxed vibe, freindly service everytime and the view of the lake and Christmas Market was stunning!

The hotel is modern and very clean. The breakfast is OH SOOOO GOOD unbelievable!! Too much! The hotel is very close to everything I mean everything— marina, restaurants, bus stop for airport, and train stations. Walkable just minutes. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Thanks for the opportunity to review your property. Positive: 1. Location was good - one of the many reasons I picked the hotel. 2. Restaurant and breakfast was good, although there were no non-dairy options. ie: Oat milk for coffee. 3. Housekeeping was responsive and good. Area to Improve: 1. check in was pure madness, plus no instructions on breakfast, the fact that the pool and spa cost extra (which by the way, is really bad practice, given it's a lot of the reason why I picked the property), 2. Not very handicap accessible. I had to go all through the bowels of the basement to finally find a way to get to the pool. There was no regular guest elevator (only stairs, which I could not use). Also, the room was as far away as possible from the elevator, not smart for someone who is mobility impaired. Nor was there any grab bars or shower chair. No instructions on how to use the phone to get anything taken care of in the room. 3. I had asked to already have the roll-away in the room when I arrived. I had to call two times the following day to make this happen.

Nice by room location bad
Booking through Hotels.com often gives us rooms that are less desirable and cannot be changed. Like rooms by a busy area, by an elevator, on floors with dozens on rowdy kids on away games the rooms are often small too. The places themselves are good and the beds are fine etc. The location is typically the issue. The hotel often won’t exchange the room either. This hotel was great though just bad location. Twice.

We liked the location which was accessible from the train station. The staff were welcoming and answered our questions. The beds were comfortable. I really appreciated that the window opened for fresh air. The breakfast was substantial and options were top notch. Thank you. What I didn’t like was the heavy fragrance when we entered our room. Was it heavy scented cleaning products or to mask something? The bathroom shower did not drain well, so water backed up. However, we enjoyed our stay and would both recommend it to others and stay again ourselves.

Lovely hotel, lots of good storage spots in the room and tasty restaurant. Very noisy at night from the clubs down the block, constant thumping of the music until about 2am, which was a disappointment.

I loved the design of the hotel! Staff was friendly, very well located as it's very nearby the main tourist spots. The only con is that when you shower, the water gets everywhere as it doesn't have a door.

The housekeeping is bad and the request on breakfast was totally wrong. They did not even have an adapter to lend. The hotel is in good location and nearby fish market , pier and train station.
