It takes you back to another time with its original architecture from the 1800's.The location on the outskirts of Bergerac is ideal as a base to plan multiple day trips. We visited the Lascaux IV caves, Chateau Beynac, Chareau Monbazillac, Le Bugue, Saint Émilion wineries, Bordeaux and more.Our hosts Marc and Danielle were very welcoming and made several recommendations to make our visit to the Perigord unforgettable. It did not disappoint; excellent and helpful staff, brilliant location with an easy walk to the old city, a private secure car park, quiet comfortable room, and a good breakfast. "We have just returned from a 2 wk stay at this stunning hamlet.Driving up to ‘Nadalie’ takes your breath away, its beautiful. The buildings have been beautifully converted to a small village with white shingle, beautiful flowers & shrubs, grape vines & fruit trees, seating nooks everywhere to enjoy the surroundings, plenty of chairs & sun beds. The Gites are perfectly spaced so that you can get away and have some alone time if needed, or gather in the main house or games room, with a lovely outdoor seating area. Perfect for our dogs, as they could run free without any worry.Sadly the fabulous pool is not heated, so we couldn’t use it often as it was just too cold, we had a few days of sunshine but also had rain. But it is the end of the season!Overall, we had a fabulous time at Nadalie, the owners Laure & her daughter Yseult were very attentive answering messages & sorting out any problems immediately, they very kindly gave my mum a gift for her birthday too.Whilst they do provide towels in the gites, they are a little tired and could do with replacing, a couple of big fluffy ones would be nice & make it a little more luxurious. We would definitely come back to the beautiful place, but maybe when it’s a bit warmer! Thankyou"

"Wonderful place to stay with family.The pool and huge garden were great for the kids (well, for everyone really!).Lovely outdoor spaces and a great barbecue.Kitchen and dining area are large and very well equipped.Bedrooms and bathrooms are clean and comfortable with nice towels and linens provided.Lounge area was large and comfortable - but all of the outdoor space is so lovely we hardly spent any time inside.Tracy is a great host - very helpful and easy to communicate with.Recommend Le Peyrat very very highly!"
