"Nice historic hotel, clean and interesting. Very quiet room and comfortable bedding. Definitely not a big chain hotel with slamming doors and identical rooms. Right in historic district, parking can be interesting and the old building coming with old 100 year old smell. My son loved it, thought it was an “adventure”."

Luxury Historic Condo in Uptown Butte

"This was my first VRBO. It was very good. Hostess could not possibly account for the unusually warm weather in Butte. I wanted to research at the Butte-Silver Bow Archives, and this is a superb location. Free parking was very safe, though on the street. The condo itself was very safe with coded external entry and key lock on the entry door. I was interested in the historic aspects like building name and downtown area. The nearby restaurants, shops, and local historic exhibits were outstanding for a history tourist. Location next to the police station added to the feeling of security. It is bright, airy and unexpectedly modern, beautifully remodeled. The cable and internet is a very welcome addition. As an historic building, the brick structure trapped heat well into the evening that the room "swamp coolers" could not overcome. Seasonally long days. Trash is picked up twice a week directly in back of the condo quite early in the morning. Condo appeared very clean, until we had to look for a small item misplaced."
