AC is hardwired to limit cooling and does not get cool at all. Very dusty when we arrived. Also did not get any fresh sheets or towels for the 4 days we stayed, only the garbage was collected everyday.

Very clean and comfortable stay!

I had an amazing stay at Flottwell. They let me check in early and I had a great room. The Wifi and internet was great and the place was very clean and comfortable. I will be staying here again in the future! They also rent out bikes and e-bikes and so I recommend grabbing one of those.

The automated checkin was a bit impersonal but worked just fine - kind of like using an ATM to get hotel card keys. The property seemed very new and clean and the room had everything we needed for our stay. It was a short walk to the metro station one direction, and a bit longer walk in the other direction to a street with a grocery store and other shops. Very nice place to stay.

Nice hotel, no temperature control

A friendly quiet hotel, well connected by public transport. A small kitchenette with a French coffee press is a great plus. Note the temperature inside was too warm in late September (23-24C) with no air-conditioning (opening windows is too noisy).

Did the job

The hotel was clean, quiet and somewhat convenient. A bit of walking is required to get around which was fine for us. Having a kitchen to use was great but we would’ve loved to have a microwave too and dishwasher would’ve been amazing. I did like that there is a laundry room you can use for free (byo detergent). The only thing we didn’t like was in order to get your room made up, you had to hang the card outside your room by 8am and you’d have no idea when your room will be made up. When we asked reception if we could have our room made up while we were gone for the afternoon, they hesitated and explained to us we needed to have the card out by 8am. Our room got made up in the end but it felt unnecessarily difficult. The hotel served its purpose for our stay but I probably wouldn’t stay here again mainly due to the location.

This was a great location for us. About 3 -4 blocks to the S-Bahn station w/ 2 different lines crossing. Not far from Potsdammer Platz, about 20 minute walk, or take the S-Bahn. Continental breakfast included w/ Capaccino, other coffee or drinks. Kitchenet in room, modern building and rooms. Nice bath w/ towel warmer, shower with glass that covers more than England where you end up showering the floor too. So, no mess when taking a shower. Has a wall bracket/ switch you are supposed to put your room cardkey in to enable lights to be turned on -some German CO2 "Green" thing, but I found you could just put a couple biz cards in it and the lights will work. Staff were very nice and helpful for a couple Yanks that don't speak much German. Grit was especially helpful, she helped us get our luggage from Lufthansa that left all the luggage in Munich, a phone call from her in German was super.

We enjoyed or stay at Flottwell which was clean, a large bathroom & cooking facilities. The staff was very helpful & always quick to reply to my questions. It was a great location with a 10 min walk to the Metro into the city & other parts of Berlin. I would recommend staying at Flottwell Berlin.

Super friendly staff, nice clean room, quite location. If you need parking write it in notes otherwise there are parkhouse close to hotel. Hotel is located nezt to nice park and direct next to Ubahn with which you can in couple min reach all tourist places.

Bra boende relativt centralt. Fräscht med bra litet kök. Något hårda sängar. Vi köpte till en frukost som var helt ok och prisvärd. Tyst och lugnt område med relativt nybyggda flerbostadshus. Nära till U-bahn. La till parkering (källaren i huset), funkade bra. Kan absolut tänka oss att bo där igen.

We generally enjoyed our stay at the flottwel. It was good value, but lack of air con might be an issue for some. I loved how the they had free washer and dryer for guests to use (2 of each on the basement). Pods available for purchase at the reception. There could be a wait for machines while others are using them though. Iron and board in the laundry room. The location was safe, fairly quiet and residential, within 1 minute walk of a park, 2 minutes from beer garden, 5 from food options, 15 to Ubahn and sbahn. I was sad they do NOT offer a/c (air conditioning) even though it mentions as an amenity on Google maps. But my fault for not noticing that Expedia dorm not indicate a/c. Beds and linens were very clean, mattresses firm. All items in the room in good working condition. Shower basin was very slippery and walls were high, I was worried is skip and fall. Breakfast was pretty nice, served from 8-10am. I thought it was a little pricey but you have many cold options including overnight oats, meats, cheese, juice, croissant, bread, coffee, tea, milks, some fruit, yogurts, jams. Good communication with the manager.

Veldig bra. Fine rom og utmerket kommunikasjon. Ingen aircondition var litt slitsomt, spesielt siden du ikke kan ha vindu åpent grunnet t-bane støy. Vinduene er lydtette så gikk fint med dem igjen, men litt vel varmt.

Clean and quiet, just steps away from a large park, very close to transit as well. In my opinion, ideal for a stay, as the transit connections to go anywhere in Berlin are very close. Friendly staff, I would definitely stay again.
