great hotel & location
First visit to Berlin and will definitely stay at the Holiday Inn again. Easy walking distance from the station, direct train from the airport (about 11 stops). Check inn really smooth and the staff were great. standard room and king bed, room was bigger than I expected as was the bed. nice bathroom with spacious shower (no bath) and clean. east side shopping mall over the road which has supermarkets, cafes, and everything you need and its a short walk to the shops/ bars and east side gallery.

I booked 3 rooms and for all of them; - Rooms too hot - air con limited to not go below 20 - 'King' rooms were two small single beds pushed together with 2 small single cheap duvets. Beds simple foam like as were the tiny supplied pillows. All very uncomfortable. Felt like cheap hostel. Did not sleep well at all. - When I complained, I was moved to another room but all exactly the same. - Tiny TVs in room, only one english channel (bbc news) - Room was never cleaned during stay, towels not changed etc. - Safe was damaged, furniture slightly worn etc. - Wifi unreliable.

Good Location
Good experience. Hotel was convenient near the concert venue (Astra Kulturhaus) and the train station. Many restaurants across the street. Easy ride into Berlin for site seeing and to the airport.

Top quality Hotel at a very reasonable price.
The Holiday Inn is a lovely hotel which is ideally situated for discovering the sights and scenery of the east side if Berlin. From the moment we checked in about three hours early , the receptionist allowed us to go to our room which was ready and was in tip top shape. The room was very neat and tidy and had Coffee and Tea and Hot Chocolate available. Breakfast was top class with a choice of a cooked breakfast or a continental breakfast if required. Believe me , the breakfast wont disappoint. Staff were very friendly and helpful . Overall our experience in Holiday Inn Berlin was first class.

Extraordinary helpful and friendly staff. This includes everyone we had to deal with or even simply saying hi to (front desk, cafe, room staff). Location is excellent and the hotel clean and pleasant. Our smily face review here is truly genuine.

The staff was so wonderful, which made our stay positive. But the WiFi did not work at all! If it did the service was so poor I could hardly use it. Also it said room service delivered until late and we tried at 10pm just to be told no.

A very average Hotel under a big Holidayinn brand.
It is Holidayinn but the hotel is as basic as a 3 star. They don't even provide you a toothpaste or a bottle of water to drink. Breakfast is really basic and they said they are out of stock for Bread which I could not absorb. Wifi did not work after 10 pm.

Junk hotel
We stayed for nine days and I would not stay again. The shower leaked all over the bathroom floor every time we showered. Staff would not replace shampoo and soap or give us clean cups. We asked one afternoon, before leaving for the evening, for extra towels - to sop up the soaking floor - and shampoo. When we returned late at night, we found we had been ignored. We asked for the shower to be fixed. Nothing happened. The wifi worked maybe 50% of the time. Again, we asked, but nothing happened. I don't expect a luxurious experience at this price point. But I do expect a functional room and reasonably smooth experience. This hotel didn't come close.

Nice clean room and quiet at all times of the day and night. Really good sleep at night. Good air conditioning as it was hot during my stay. Mall nearby for food and other items. Close to the Verti music hall and Mercedes Benz arena.
