great hotel, but this stay...
everything great except the constant slamming door to the stairwell/escalators that is right next to my bedroom - please fix this!

Whislt the hotel name suggests a central location it really is on the fringe of Mitte. This was ideal for me as I wated to explore Kreuzberg, but go more central if you really want to be Mitte based. Hotel was fine. Small but clean room. For a mid priced hotel the facilities are very basic. No kettle in room, in fact not even a cup or glass, just a small paper cup. Breakfast was ok. Staff friendly and efficient. Overall was satisfactory, ,but I left feelig there was probably better value to be had elsewhere, but at least you know what you are getting with Motel One.

It’s an ok place for a short stay. Small rooms, breakfast is not impressive. No scramble eggs, only boiled. But nice restaurand/waiting area to work.

This was an excellent hotel, specially for the price. Normal size hotel rooms, actually more spacious than others. modern furniture. Very welcoming lobby appearance and staff. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Comfortable bed. A mini super market very close by, but nothing really else is close. I used the train a ton and the U-Bahn is just steps away, along with the bus stop, so that was a huge perk for me. Also a 10 minute walk from Kruezberg night life. Would definitely stay here again!

Jewel of Moritzplatz.
Very well presented reception, bar and breakfast room on the lower floor. Ramp access for wheelchair and luggage. Luggage storage room - pre check in and post check out. Daily servicing of room was to a very high standard. In general the hotel is very clean and has an 'as new' look to it. Our room was one of the smaller ones but with some thought we used it with comfort. We used 'packing cubes' for clothing, which is helpful as there are some shelves but no drawer units. The room rate is good value for money. I thought bar prices were high, but have no experience of prices in other Berlin hotels. All staff we encountered were super helpful and friendly.

Great place!
Chose this on the spur of the moment after staying at a Motel One in Prague the day before. Great place and completely worth the price. Check in was a breeze. Room was ready. Service was great. Lobby bar and whole decor of the place is really nice. It is about a 20 minute walk to Checkpoint Charlie and the Christmas Market which is why I was there. Only “con” is the thermostat in the room. Had heat but sometimes got very hot. Couldn’t seem to adjust it properly. Other than that I would stay here again and recommend it if you are staying in Berlin or Prague.

Great hotel in a great location
Hotel is in a great location - though busy. Plenty of public transport near-by. Room was compact but well presented with a very comfortable bed and spotlessly clean. Pleasant staff.

Decent budget hotel
A budget hotel chain where ever one goes they look the same. It has a modern and nice looking lobby area and the theme is also found in the room. The location in the center of Berlin is great. There is a subway station right around the corner. The room was more on the smaller side, but it was clean with a modern touch.

Easy Value Hotel, Decent Location
This Motel One is well located. It sits just feet away from a major U-Bahn station. However, as nice as this is, the immediate vicinity leaves more to be desired. I was glad when I switched an accommodation in a more lively part of Kreuzberg. Do not stay here if you want a quick walk to nightlife. Do stay here if you plan on taking U-Bahn to see Berlin. The hotel itself is new and modern. The check in and out process was quick and easy. The room, although small, was very clean and quiet. The price/value is excellent.

Simple, functional, easy to reach
I like the Motel One concept and approach to accommodation. Everything is kept simple, minimal, and clean, without any unnecessary leftovers from earlier times. Attention to detail and experience is always a pleasant surprise. The location is quiet for a good night's sleep, yet the subway is literally in front of the door within less than 20 meters walking distance and 3 stops from Alexanderplatz. The service staff is helpful and ready to assist with questions and requests. Recommended.

Loved it!
I've been to several Motel One's so far, and I like the concept - modern, clean, simple, functional, and efficient. The striking attention to detail and experience is always fascinating - just turn the shower on and the water is perfect, no need to fiddle with the temperature - did I say efficient? Location is nice and quiet yet within minutes of major areas and easily reachable from the train stations. The subway stop is literally in front of the door with connections every few minutes. Recommended.

Nice new hotel but small room.
The hotel has a new look to it making for a nice clean room. Not much amenities so bring your own. Outside the hotel you will find restaurants, pubs, and a convenient store to purchase snacks and amenities. Also the underground is right outside so you can easily get around Berlin without taxi or walking; very easy to understand. No problems with the staff as they were all nice and polite.

Schönes, gemütliches Zimmer. Sehr ruhig da zum Hinterhof, wir könnten mit gekipptem Fenster schlafen. Bad top und sehr sauber. Wir müssten in Nachbarstr. parken, da Parkplätze ausgebucht. Unbedingt vorab reservieren! Expedia hat leider keine Parkplatzreyervierung angeboten.
