This is a nice new hotel with a friendly and helpful staff. They have a bar with pizza and simple snacks. If i had seen the menu on your website, i would have eaten there instead of the airport. Please post it. The hotel is not far from the airport (maybe 2 miles) but it is not walkable due a lack of sidewalks. There is a city bus that stops adjacent to the hotel, but it departed just once an hour when i was there and didn't start until after 5 AM. I therefore asked to take the advertised hotel shuttle which I assumed belonged to Marriott. Not so. The hotel shuttle is just a random park-n-fly company driving people back and forth between hotels and the airport parking lot, from which point they must walk to the terminals. The shuttle is only 3 euros, but you can't pay on board. Instead, guests must preregister and prepay on a confusing website designed to sell parking lot reservations. It took me about 20 minutes with assistance to reserve a shuttle seat without parking. Finally, the shuttle does not stop at the hotel door. You have to go to the city busstop (not far) and flag it down as it passes because apparently even with a reservation, the driver won't stop unless you wave. Wake up, Marriott! This causes your guests anxiety: What if we made the reservation wrong or the driver didn't see someone waving in the dark? I booked this hotel for the advertised shuttle. Next time i might just stay at the airport and save myself the stress.

The hotel is pretty close to the airport but ordering shuttle is a challenge- they have some QR code for the service to order it in German. For 2 people it costs around 8$ which is the same price fof Uber. QR code is at the reception not in the room. Skip that take Uber instead. When we entered the room it was cold as hell because some cleaning id*ot left the window open in the middle of the winter. We were waiting 6-7 hours to have a warm temperature in the room. Now me and my wife we are sick - got cold after this visit.

So overall, I like the Moxy concept in style and offering unconventional, homely accommodation near airports. However, this concept relies on good connectivity with the airport, and the shuttle service in this hotel sucked. This is possibly due to a contract change for 2024. However we tried both directions. And the staff could not give us clear instructions on how this was supposed to work, the info QR code gave us information on parking bookings, and the whole thing culminated in a shuttle blasting past me waving at 0530 in the morning, while trying to catch a flight. That kind of spoiled the experience.

I stayed at this property in Frankfurt after Lufthansa goofed my flight, so I wanted to see what the Moxy near BER was like. In short, fun and friendly. Check in is easy, it's near the airport, and they have a 24hr bar. Food was "near airport" pricey but decent. Definitely has everything you need for an overnight stay after a really long flight.

We had trouble with the toilet in that it kept running so they moved us to a new room. The shower in our second room would not drain properly. The staff was great but plumbing wasn’t great. My biggest complaint is that this place is close enough to the airport to make you think it will be convenient but far enough to make it inconvenient. Next time I would stay right at the airport if I could.

Cool concept for the hotel. For someone without a car, you have to ride a shuttle from outside of Terminals 1 & 2 for 7 Euros each way. Other than that, the room was great. And the breakfast was very appetizing.

The room was very clean and quite. The hotel is about 2 miles away from terminal 1-2, without free shuttle service. I tried to call the hotel multiple times to ask about bus info, but nobody picked up.

The property was great and the staff was nice. The location is just incredibly inconvenient and the transportation was very limited. When contacting an Uber at the airport one night to return bc the bus was unavailable, the Uber canceled and then another Uber charged me for no service. I had to walk 45min to get back to Moxy. I’ve lived in rough neighborhoods and I admit this was just awful in the dark. Glad I didn’t run the marathon the next morning as planned. I saw other cars go by to the location so I don’t know what was up - wish they had a continuous bus/transit option for that area. Bummer. Won’t stay there ever again as a result even though the property (and staff) was absolutely fine.

Beds are too small - otherwise we would love it
The reception was super friendly and welcoming. The extra offer for the airport transfer was also good. Unfortunately, the beds are too small (my husband 6feet) and too narrow. Also, the mattress is very hard. The room itself is great. In order to come back or to recommend your hotel, one has to come up with a better sleep situation.

The property is great for being at the airport We had an issue with our reservation We booked a family suite for our first night and a 2 twin beds room for our second Upon check in we were given 2 queen bedrooms We asked about how to change rooms the next day day and we’re told these were ours for the duration of our stay Upon arriving back at the hotel on day 2 we were locked out of our rooms and told to keep the rooms we had to pay an additional 189 Euros To keep both rooms or they could move us to a single one bed room

We stayed for one night upon arriving in Berlin. This is a good hotel a little way from the airport. Not that easy to get to and the shuttle bus is a bit of a joke so we ended up taking a taxi both ways. Breakfast was good.

The hotel is good. The location is weird. They need to invest in some proper roads to/from the airport as it is a weird route. The in hotel bar is good and the free drink doesn’t hurt either. I’d visit again except for one issue. Why do you put lights that can’t be turned off in the rooms? I tried all 7 switches I. The room and the under bed light will not turn off. I eventually stuffed the comforter into the slot to block the light. This is a amazing bad idea. Put a light switch to control

This is more a review of Expedia than tbe Moxy. I used the breakfast included and parking available filters. Neither were true. The parking was there, but there were only a few parking spaces, and certainly not enough to accimadate a hotel of that size. By the time we got there, no parking was available. Further, we were to discover that even though we used the breakfast included filter, Expedia sold us a room without breakfast included, and I failed to notice the switch. That unfairly advantaged the Moxy as it was being compared to other hotels that had a lot more to offer for the same price. When I reached out to Expedia I received the most horrible customer service I have ever had from the service industry. And since the pandemic, that says a lot as that bar is really low. I usually spend thousands through Expedia every year (even during the pandemic), and I will be deleting this app now.

The hotel itself is quite nice, conveniently near Brandenburg airport but not loud. The shower was a bit small but very clean bathroom. The biggest issue was parking. The hotel staff said that it costs $30 and there were no spots in their tiny lot! We had to do our own investigating to find parking. There is an underground lot by a neighboring hotel that costs only $8, but the hotel staff didn't inform us of that. However, they did give us a voucher for a free drink which was nice.

The hotel is new, and it is accessible for people with disabilities (kudos for that). Please note that getting to the hotel implies taking a public bus from the main terminal, and the instructions for that aer not simple.
