Nice and clean place. Friendly staff. Price was good. Parking was not that easy in the long street of the hotel. We had a family room. Lot of space. Good stay for a couple of days Berlin.

Super hospitality from the staff. A bit dogdy neighbourhood, but we never exeperienced any irregularties (went as family). A bit noisy with door slammering late at night. All in all, liked the place and do recommend it.

Comfy beds

From all the hostels I have been this was the most comfy pillow and blanket I surely had a good rest. There are sockets next to bed. I also loved the lobby area and the possibility to buy beers in reception (3 euro) which was amazing because in the evening there is nothing really open around. Also was delighted to have a welcome drink upon arrival. The location is appx. 10 minutes by walk from the metro station to which you need to make change from airport. But generally had no problem finding it from the airport. Overall, it was a good experience. The area is quiet at night.

Honestly my stay up until today was half ok. Some of the female staff were wonderful and really sweet. My room’s bathroom kept leaking or maybe one of the girls wasn’t showering correctly because it flooded the room more than once. Today however was terrible. My trip to Berlin extended, so I extended my stay. I told the staff the night before that I had extended and showed him my booking. He looked on the computer but suddenly gave up and wrote a hand written note my name and that he’d check again in the morning. Didn’t tell me that I needed to come back or anything, said he’d have it sorted. I left for business and came back locked out of the room. Went to get my card checked and then was told my bed changed. I then found they’d removed everything off of my bed, and shoved it all haphazardly into a garbage bag. Moisturiser had leaked over clothes, letters and postcards I’d written to family completely trashed. Came back to find myself in a bunk that I can barely climb with my injured knee. The other staff I spoke to said “I mean I don’t know. Just maybe don’t leave your stuff unattended? Not that there’s anything i can do” completely unbothered. Which was devastating considering I’d done everything right to stay here. Honestly all the staff except one taller man in catering/coffee and one small blonde lady are appalling. I don’t know their names but if you come here don’t bother to ask any other staff for help, they’ll only seem bothered by you.

Toujours bien mais l’état se dégrade !

Toujours satisfait de pouvoir compter sur le Nena Hostel lors d’un séjour à Berlin ! Accueil 24/24, literie confortable, bâtiment récent, bien situé, parking à vélo dans la cour intérieure, beaucoup d’espaces de convivialité, jardin arrière. L’état des chambres en revanche s’est un peu dégradé depuis l’année dernière : trou/coups dans le placo au-dessus de la douche (juste esthétique), le support pour accrocher le pommeau de douche au mur est cassé, et une partie du mécanisme de la fenêtre qui a été déformé au point que le battant ne fermait plus complètement. Niveau entretien un petit bémol : moisissures sur les joints du pourtour de la douche. Ça reste une très bonne option à un bon prix pour celles et ceux qui cherchent à loger du côté de Wedding/Mitte. Vous pouvez réserver des dortoirs/chambres complets (3 ou 6 lits) pour organiser vos séjours en grands groupes d’amis.

Toujours bien mais l’état se dégrade

Toujours satisfait de pouvoir compter sur le Nena Hostel lors d’un séjour à Berlin. L’état des chambres s’est un peu dégradé la faute aux hôtes peu précautionneux : trou dans le placo au-dessus de la douche (pas d’impact fonctionnel juste esthétique), rampe pour accrocher le pommeau de douche au mur HS, et une partie du mécanisme de la fenêtre qui a été déformé au point que le métal interne au battant était cassé (nous l’avons démonté pour restaurer la fonctionnalité de la fenêtre). Niveau entretien un petit bémol : moisissures sur les joints du pourtour de la douche.

Das Hostel war sehr gut. Wir hatten zwei Doppelzimmer, leider ging in einem der Zimmer der Fernseher nicht. Es sollte ein Monteur das reparieren. Leider wurde daraus nichts. Ausserdem wäre es schön gewesen, wenn im Doppelzimmer 2 Nachtischlampen wären, anstatt nur eine. Ansonsten hat uns der Urlaub gut gefallen. Aber für alle die meckern, es ist ein Hostel und kein Hotel. Wir würden dort wieder übernachten.

Très bon séjour

Etablissement presque neuf, bien situé, confortable et bien isolé phoniquement (du moins pas perçu de bruits de voisinage). Accès à des snacks et boissons à l'accueil (ils font de très bons cafés avec les laits de votre choix). Buffet petit-dej pour 7,5€. Parking à vélo dans la cour intérieure. Séjour en chambre privative donc je ne sais pas ce que ça donne en dortoir. Les lits sont simples mais confortables. Les oreillers gros et moelleux. Serviettes en supplément (3€ pour le séjour). Le personnel est sympa et disponible. L'accueil est staffé 24/24.

Nicht nochmal

Leider war mein Zimmer so gut wie leer. Es bestand nur aus einem Doppelbett mit Nachtisch und Fernseher. Kein Tisch, kein Kleiderschrank, keine Schuhkommode, obwohl der Platz das hergegeben hätte. Ich bin zwar nur im Zimmer, wenn ich schlafe oder mich fertigmache, aber ein paar Möbel oder Deko für ein angenehmeres Ambiente wäre das Mindeste gewesen. Ein weiteres Mal werde ich nicht kommen. Da gibt es günstigere und angenehmere Hostels/Hotels.

Fint vandrehjem. Dårlige parkeringsforhold.

Vandrehjemmet er fint nyt og renligt. Meget minimalistisk på den gode måde. Der overnatter store grupper hvilket kan larme i løbet af dagen. Men kl 23 er der ro. Vi kom kørende, der står jo gratis parkering inden for 50 m. Ja hvis man kan finde et sted at parkere langs vejene. Vi måtte parkere på en anden gade og man skal se sig for med skiltning mht parkering. Boligkvarteret omkring vandrehjemmet var ikke i den pæneste ende af skalaen.

Ich hab mir für eine Nacht ein Zimmer gebucht, da ich einen Termin in Berlin hatte. Das Personal super freundlich und entgegenkommend. Die Sauberkeit war okay, dadurch dass ich einen geteilten Raum hatte, war der Boden etwas dreckig. Als ich mein Bett dann beziehen wollte, habe ich einen Kaffeefleck und ein schwarzes Haar auf dem Bezug entdeckt, was beim Zusammenlegen der Wäsche hätte auffallen müssen. Auch etwas schade fand ich, dass es im gesamten Raum nur 2 Steckdosen gab, die auch noch beide an einer Seite/Wand des Raumes waren. Es wurde zwar mit Mehrfachsteckern dafür gesorgt, dass alle eine Möglichkeit hatten ihre Geräte gleichzeitig zu laden, allerdings lasse ich meine Sachen ungern über Nacht am anderen Ende vom Raum ohne selber darauf ein Auge zu haben, noch die anderen Personen im Raum zu kennen. Die Lage passt so gar nicht zu der modernen und cleanen Einrichtung. Zwar ist die nächste U-Bahnstation nur 15min zu Fuss entfernt, allerdings würde ich diesen Weg Nachts nicht alleine laufen. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist okay, für eine Nacht hat es mir gereicht.
