Great spot in Berlin

We had such a good time at this location. Near the U-Bahn and easy to walk everywhere. Unit was spacious and quiet. Kitchen well stocked. Washing machine was really helpful, and the drying rack available was very spacious.

The communication with the host was excellent. The location is really good and the apartment is well appointed. There are a lot of great shops and restaurants in the neighborhood. The only problem was the apartment was very damp. The host said that it was because of the heatwave, I am not certain of that, It may be because it is a basement apartment, but the humidity level was consistently 65%. (I carry a small CO detector, thermometer, with humidity scale when I travel) Our clothes did not dry and the furniture felt damp making our stay uncomfortable. We did communicate with the host, who advised us to open windows. We had two small windows open in the front we also opened the rear window, but we couldn't leave the back window open overnight because it was ground level. We left a day early for this reason. This is very unfortunate because I think the host is great, but other renters should not have to have the same experience. A dehumidifier would be a big improvement.
