Hotel was under construction when we stayed there for two nights. It will be a very nice place after construction. Easy to reach by car, parking in the courtyard. Clean room, firm and comfortable beds, good shower. We basically just slept at the hotel and them spent time exploring the city. Recommend.

The service, location, cleanliness and hospitality is simply spectacular particularly after having been through such a terrible and frightening experience with OCAK APARTMENT AND HOTEL BERLIN where I stayed for 4 days. I was looking forward to a European hotel experience and what i got was horrific. You will never go wrong with a US hotel, for sure. I am going back to Berlin this May and will definitely book at Wyndham. Thank you for such a friendly and welcoming experience, Wyndham!

I booked a double room in middle of February 2024, and was at first shocked at the somewhat dilapidated entrance with bordered up windows. However, once we walked in to the main lobby, it felt like a cosy place to stay. The room was simple, elegant with a high ceiling, and well equipped save for the lack of an electric kettle. The breakfast buffet was widespread and delicious, which acted as a great start to our day in Berlin

So I got this at a knock down price and as such can't really complain too much. I'd read some pretty bad reviews but I would say "it's fine". The rooms are a decent size if a bit dated with some questionable quality fittings in places. No air con in the lowest category of room which was tough in the summer heat. The rooms were clean enough and quite comfortable otherwise. Nice shady yard. Facilities felt a bit of an afterthought, for instance the fitness room was hidden with an ironing room and also wasn't air conditioned. Area is fine in terms of transport links but not much to do locally.

I recently stayed in this hotel and I was traveling solo. In contrary to some of the reviews my stay was really good. Here is what I liked and what need some TLC: Convenient location: It’s not in central Berlin, however I got a great rate for the room so I gave it a try. It’s about 10 min walking from Bornhomer Stranbe train station which is about 6 stops from Brandenburger Tor (center). I still have it fresh in memory because I was just there a few days ago. In terms of safety, I don’t think I’ll navigate the area at night by myself but that is usually everywhere I go by myself. This area was populated mostly with middle eastern people from what I saw so this is what the food choices mostly are like Arab,Turkish etc. If you don’t want the hassle of traveling, book something closer to central. For me it was fine as I was using the public transportation all day long. If you are in a budget, this is a great option as the conditions were excellent/spacious room etc. TLC: The hotel needs some updates like the entrance glass needs fixing/the elevator was taking a little longer as it’s only one. If I find another great deal, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Kudos to reception: very polite

No AC and it was 30 C (86 F) in our room one night with only a fan. Also the elevator in the reception area wasn't working, so we had to use another that was only accessible from outside, over some rather rough and uneven pavement where renovations were being done. We didn't partake of the breakfasts. The beds were good.
