"The apartment is really great and everything is brand new. But the agency forgot to send check in instructions, we called them and were all set. Be aware to get instructions 2 days before or call them. In VRBO the location was directly on the water, in reality not at all. If you want to stay in this area, the location is great but we drove every day to Acadia park or supermarket about 25-30 minutes.
Yes, I would recommend this accommodation and would like to stay here again."

"Very disappointed with location. Property is located in the middle of nowhere. The roads were curvy and dark. No restaurants or gas stations close. The outside appearance looks like it’s still under construction. The inside was very nice, but no welcome basket or complimentary coffee/tea. I wouldn’t revisit. Priced too high. "

"I think my communication issues may have been on the Expedia side of things and have little to do with the host. I had a hard time navigating to leave a message and the only messages I received were sent in February, months before my May attempts to communicate. The messages I did read from Feb were hard to access and appeared in faded gray color font with copy and paste nearly unreachable as printing was off the screen of my iPhone.
Note to host would be to have an extra roll of TP and...

"Hosts easy to deal with. Place was neat and as promised. Nice place as a base to visit this part of Maine. Did Acadia NP, Whale watch, toured a couple Lighthouse spots, Did Bangor Steven King tour, and Upstate Moosehead Lake with a short walk on the AT. All easy drives from the rental. "

"We loved the view of the harbor, the quietness of the area, and the adjacent restaurant (great coffee). The owner was very kind and our stay was lovely. "

"Great stay for a reasonable price. Helpful desk staff and a clean room. It's a short drive or longer walk to many shops and restaurants. Close to Hulls Cove Park entrance."
Holiday Inn Resort Bar Harbor - Acadia Natl Park by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"My wife and I had a truly wonderful stay at Holiday Inn Resort in Bar Harbor. The location is beautiful, and we loved reading by the water as the sun set. The rooms, the grounds, and all the facilities are very clean and well-maintained. The staff and management are so kind and accommodating, we felt completely taken care of. Would highly recommend this for a high-quality stay a short drive from downtown Bar Harbor!"
"Desk lady very nice—great breakfast, great location—room clean
Quiet place
Issue was the shower drain was backed up and the cleaning service would have had to known that— didn’t enjoy taking a shower with 3inches of water, yuck"
"Upon arrival I noticed how beautiful the property was. The staff was exceptional as we checked in, offering refreshments located in the breakfast area, even at 8:30 pm.
The room was very clean, with plenty of space, robes for our comfort, as well as plenty of tea and coffee in the room with cream and sugar.
There were large dresser drawers available for us to unpack as we stayed 5 nights.
Bathroom towels were thick and plentiful as well as soap, shampoo and conditioner and lotion, with a very light refreshing fragrance.
Like every other review, I will add that their breakfast is a welcome variety of eggs, meats, fruit, breads, coffee cake, yogurts and cereal. So delicious and the breakfast staff so kind to everyone.
We would definitely stay again."
