"We spent an evening at this hotel during a whirlwind tour of Bavaria. Rooms were great and we had dinner in the dining room which was very tasty. The breakfast buffet had so many options. Highly recommend this hotel."

"We stayed there for one night prior to visiting Herrenchiemsee. It was a short drive (15 minutes) to the ferry. The hotel is very rural. Breakfast was nice. Guests are given a table number for where to sit for breakfast which I guess avoids any issues with finding a clean table. One slightly quirky thing, which we liked, was that each room had a golf club and ball to use a mini golf course in the garden. The room was very hot even with the fan on. It was a lovely hotel with a spa and plenty of hiking routes nearby. We would have preferred to have stayed in Prien an Chiemsee but most hotels had a minimum number of nights stay which this hotel didn't have. It's definitely a good choice for a short visit to that area."

"A very lovely place for a quick rest during a hectic travel itinerary. The lake is gorgeous and being able to go for a swim was a welcome reprieve from the heat. One note - the rooms do not have air conditioning. We happened to be there during an extremely hot time. We were provided with a good fan, which helped a lot. I'm certain that AC is unnecessary 90% of the time, we just happened to be there when it would have made a big difference in the overall comfort."
