Good hotel in Bernau

A good hotel at a fair price. For sure, not a luxury hotel but, for the price, good rooms and good breakfast. Parking included in price. Nice people in reception and at breakfast. 12 minutes walk to S-bahn. Biggest disadvantage was a slow and erratic internet that made Zoom-meetings almost impossible. Would be glad to return if the internet was improved, as it is now, I cannot recommend to anyone who needs internet.

Did not like there was no air conditioning and bathroom fixtures were not sturdy. The door was also difficult to open. Also very difficult with no elevator especially if you have suitcases.

Die Bettmatratze war ziemlich weich, ein kleines Kissen war nicht da. Beim Spülen der Toilette fiel mir die Drückerplatte entgegen, die Fenster haben schlecht geschlossen und wenn man das Fenster gekippt hatte, war die naheliegende (100m Luftlinie) Autobahn deutlich zu hören. Ich hatte Glück einen kühlen Tag /Nacht erwischt zu haben, aber bei normalen Sommertemperaturen unter dem Dach ohne Klimaanlage, kein Ventilator, keine Minibar, nicht auszudenken. Das Treppenhaus führt am Raucherraum vorbei und es riecht dementsprechend.

Im Bad war das Licht defekt, ich hatte das an der Rezeption gemeldet. Aber wurde nicht repariert Schade ich habe dann zwei Tage im Dunkeln geduscht.

Wasserkocher, Milch, Zucker, Löffel, Tasse … alles vorhanden, nur der Kaffee / lösliche Kaffee nicht. Keine Steckdosen am Bett, heutzutage muss es Standard sein

Gutes Hotel, nettes Personal

Die Zimmer sind großzügig geschnitten. Das Bad mit Dusche ebenfalls. Das Frühstücksbuffet war ausgiebig und es wurde immer wieder nachgefüllt. Super Service und sehr freundlicher Mitarbeiter! Check In ist bis 23 Uhr möglich. Frühstück gibt es von 6 bis 10 Uhr. Check Out bis 11 Uhr. Leider war das Bad nicht so sauber, wie wir es aus anderen Hotels dieser Klasse gewohnt sind. Ansonsten war es eine gute Entscheidung, dort zu übernachten, da es sehr nah an Berlin grenzt.
