"The hotel is clean & comfortable and the communal area is a lovely idea. I completely understand the idea behind not providing people with things they may not need (e.g. daily housekeeping, new towels, extra pillows etc) unless they’ve been requested, but this only works as a concept if the requests are actually met. Two days in a row I requested house keeping and two days in a row, I returned in the evening to find it hadn’t been done. On the second failed day, I went down to speak to the member of staff on site. I get mistakes happen but I was really disappointed by how unbothered she was by the situation. She brought clean towels to our room a few minutes later but there was no apology for the repeated let down, and it was just shrugged off with a “unfortunately housekeeping are gone for the day now” with no explanation of how it had been missed two days in a row. We also tried to buy a drink from the vending machine however the payment terminal wasn’t working - the member of staff said we could just buy it through the bar instead and we were charged nearly a euro more than the vending machine price. Overall the hotel is a nice idea but the service experience isn’t up to scratch and I wouldn’t stay again."

"We loved our stay here, this is the 2nd time in the last year and we would highly recommend. Staff are very friendly and helpful, a special mention for Richard W who helped us out mutlple times. Rooms are clean and well kept, the water pressure in the shower is excellent. Approx 10-15min walk to central Munich (Marienplatz etc) and less than 5 from Munich hauptbahnhof Would highly recommend!"
