"We were given a very personal and friendly welcome by the hosts, who explained details of the house to us. The house is very well equipped and spacious, especially since we were only two people! The house is well placed to visit this part of Normandy and the hosts were able to give good advice. This would suit many different groups of people. "The location is on the edge of a quiet village and with only subtle sounds of frogs from the pond and whinnies from the horse it was bliss. This was our 2nd stay and would love to come back again. Transport is required to access local shops but the ride out is so lovely it isnt a worry. We stayed for the 80th anniversary of D-Day and found it a good base to stay for the events. "We only stayed one night on our way further south, but really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is conveniently situated and beautifully designed, with a large and comfortable seating area downstairs and access to a kitchen. We especially liked the design and ambience of the property and it was quiet and peaceful. The town isn't much to write home about, although has a nice cathedral. We would stay at Erawan Boutique Hotel again."
