    The Space:

    Located on the dunes of a beautiful wide beach adjacent to Delaware Seashore State Park, you will eat, sleep, and relax to the sounds of the ocean waves from this Atlantic Watergate townhome. After your many water adventures, head for the shared tennis court, playground, or picnic area. Additionally, nearby, you'll be delighted to find a lifeguarded beach just a mile north at Indian River Inlet, as well as, numerous seaside restaurants and shops. Before heading inside your stay, rinse off in the private outdoor shower, located inside the carport. Warm wood finishes, comfortable furnishings, and marvelous ocean views make up the interior of this charming townhome. When you need a break from the sun, the spacious living room offers ample seating and a large TV and high speed internet so you can log into your favorite streaming account. When you aren't hanging out here, head for one of the townhome's oceanfront balconies, one accessible on the second floor and the other on the third floor. When hunger arises, head for the well-appointed kitchen where cooking is made a breeze amongst stainless steel appliances and gleaming countertops. Under the glow of the wicker chandelier, indulge in some of your favorite family-style meals. Each of the three bedrooms are equally cozy, and offer central air-conditioning, soft linens, and natural lighting. One bedroom has a floor-to-ceiling folding screen to create two separate spaces - each with its' own closet, door, and window. Perks like board games, a private washer/dryer, and a DVD player round out the townhome's stellar interior perks. Things to Know Check-in time: 4:00 PM Check-out time: 10:00 AM This property does not offer cable. All guests shall abide by our good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises. You must be 25 to rent this property. Delaware regulations require all guests to sign a lease agreement within 10 days of booking. A lease agreement will be sent within 24 hours of booking and an electronic signature is required before final check-in information is made available.

The location of this home is the best! It’s so easy to walk out to the beach and come back as needed. Having adequate bath towels and linens provided also made packing so much easier. There was plenty of space for our family and we had a great trip!

Great location, fabulous view

We really enjoyed our stay and are sad that this unit is for sale. Who knows if the new owners will be renting it or not? It was sparkling clean, although it's a little shabby (or well-loved, depending on your point of view). Kitchen is very well stocked. Most of all, you can't beat the view from the balconies. One small note: there is no convenient place in the carport for recharging an electric vehicle. There is a GFI outlet, but it does not work.

Rustic-ish, quaint, great stay

Shiplap paneling abounds, bare wood floors—all expected when your backyard is an ocean. Love the leisurely Adirondack chairs out back and front, and a screened in porch extends the living space out back and outdoor dining table and chairs out front for the afternoon sun. Beds are comfy, easy accommodation for larger groups, storage galore in bathrooms, kitchen stocked like someone lives there. It’s not plush luxury, but it’s def comfy with enough space for everyone. Laundry on- site a plus—again, a little rustic in an outdoor access with older appliances, but remember that ocean in your backyard. Appears the door-code set to work not a minute before 4pm check-in—even when we got an email indicating it was ready early. If you do intend to arrive before 4pm, prob shd talk to someone to be sure. Would def stay again.

Perfect, relaxing beach home

This was the perfect beach house for a family wanting easy (and immediate) access to the beach, views during toddler nap time, a stocked kitchen, and proximity to restaurants and Bethany's boardwalk. It was perfect for our family of 3 and very toddler friendly (we have a 2.5 year old). You could not be closer to the beach and could hear the waves from the living room. The beach was pristine and relaxed--perfect pace for anyone wanting a relaxing vacation at the beach.

Wonderful location, responsive owner. In addition to watching sunrises on the beach and falling asleep to the tides, we enjoyed our annual meals at Matt's Fish Camp, walking down memory lane at Rheoboth Boardwalk, catching crabs at Holt's Landing, and take-out BBQ from Charlie K's. A well anticipated yearly beach vacation. Looking forward to coming back next year.

Great stay in Atlantic Watergate

We just got home from a perfect week at Atlantic Watergate. The house was a great fit for my family of 4 and my sister’s. The house was clean upon arrival and check-in with the code was super easy. The kitchen was well stocked and there was ample seating even when we had some extended family over for dinner. The views from the 2nd floor room were amazing and we loved waking up to the sunrise every day. Already talking about our next trip!

A wonderful beach getaway right by the ocean

It's rare these days to be able to stay somewhere that's right on the sand. It was so wonderful to be able to hear the ocean waves from the bedrooms and balconies. We especially enjoyed being able to see the sun and moon rise. The house is great and comfortable. We had everything needed for a pleasant stay and enjoyed some great meals on the screened-in porch. The kids loved the nearby playground. If you go out on the beach side, there's a state park just to the left that stretches about a mile to a lifeguarded beach. Such a relaxing getaway! We are already dreaming of our next visit.

Location, Location, Location!

We loved staying at this beach house. The location was incredible, just steps to the waves in the ocean. The house is cozy and comfortable and has everything you might need. The kitchen was well stocked and there were plenty of spaces for family meals or a game of cards or Monopoly. The picnic table on the screened in porch was fun for the kids, they loved having lunches out there. Having three levels was nice for extended family. The beds were comfy, bathrooms were nice and the views were beyond amazing. I would definitely like to stay here again (and again, and again and again). The owner was also very kind and responsive to inquiries.

We have been in larger more well appointed homes over our 35 years of renting at the beach…but loved this one the most! The location is perfect for fisherman and families who tolerate them lol! The proximity of the beach and number of decks and porches is superb! The neighborhood is so family friendly. Most importantly, the Host was accommodating, accessible and friendly! Hope to rent here again next year. The only negative that you should be prepared for is that you need to go outside to the laundry in a shed type structure under the car port.
