Cute, well-appointed convenient area

Overall we really enjoyed our stay here! All was comfortable, plenty of kitchen gadgets and accessories, big deck area. There were lots of things that had been updated - flooring, master shower, living room area - but I would say there are still some outdated things and areas that could use a deep clean. All linens and home towels provided are hotel grade, beach towels not provided. Sea Colony was conveniently located and a great family area - its huge and can be a lot to navigate but good paths, trolly, cute landscaping.

This is our 4th year at Sea Colony, second stay in this unit. It didn’t look like it was cleaned well- shower and fridge were overlooked, random things left in dryer, dried food on silverware. We like this location, and the easy proximity to the beach and tennis. But the unit just needs a freshening up. It’s ok but for the price it’s underwhelming. The AC was non existent in the smaller bedroom which made it uncomfortable for our sons to sleep.

The unit was very clean when we arrived. We really liked that it was so well stocked with all of the necessities that we would need. There was plenty of room for the two of us. All of the appliances and things worked well except for the hot water did not work for the shower in the main bathroom. The decor seemed very plain and not so inviting or comfortable. There is a side view of the lake. We probably wouldn’t stay here again since the place didn’t feel homey and wasn’t attractive. However, if you are looking for a place that is very clean and has all of the amenities and necessities and decor and furniture don’t interest you in, then this would be a good place to stay. The price is good.

Tennis trip

The condo was clean and close to both the tennis center and a short walk to the beach. Lots of extras and very nice view of the lake. We had a great time here!

Well situated, great place.

It is right next to the tennis courts and very close to the main tram to get to the beach. The deck is very nice. Overall, the living spaces were really good. My daughters loved the bunkbeds. Beds are comfy. TV and board games amenities were nice. Kitchen is nicely stocked with plates, cups and utensils. Appliances worked fine. Wi-Fi worked great. We did run out of toilet paper and there was no laundry detergent, so remember to bring those. Overall a wonderful place to stay and we would come again.

Lacked basics

The property lacked basic kitchen needs, all the cooking items needed to be cleaned before we could use them. There wasn’t even a broom to sweep the front walk which was slippery with wet leaves. The furniture in the living area is quite uncomfortable. The hot water mixer in the master bath shower does not work. Sliding doors and windows are difficult to operate. Overall the quality control by the property manager is lacking and the place needs an update. We were notified about painting going on in the area but nothing was said about carpenters outside our windows hammering and sawing at 7:30am.

Great place to stay with family

We loved staying at sea colony resort. Our condo was very clean. We had one minor maintenance issue with our sink. The maintenance crew made the repair in less than 1 hour of us calling. The bathroom hardware was a little dated but it was not an issue for us after the sink repair. The beds were cozy and we were provided plenty of linens. I really liked that we were able to sit on the porch and view the lake. We would absolutely love to stay again with vacasa.

Great getaway

Very clean, lots of kitchen items available, comfy furniture and bed, great view. If you are arriving later at night and not familiar with Sea Colony, follow the map provided in your check in docs. Also a little dark so use your phone flashlight to put in combo for door code. Would definitely stay again! If the owner reads this, where'd you buy the white kitchen table set, loved it!

The decor was beautiful the homeowners labeled everything, which I loved. The view of the pond with swan was accessible from the deck off the living room he came up and greeted us while I had my coffee. Wish I was staying two weeks.

Ok. Not what expected.

When checked we in at 4:00pm. Upon entering the place, to our surprise, it was a mess. It wasn't cleaned at all. It was so nasty. Garbage everywhere, couch cushions out of place, kitchen a complete mess. I remember hearing someone in line as I waiting to check in, complain that when they arrived their place was a mess and not cleaned and after 3 calls no one still came ( praying it wouldn't happen to me) I called and they had someone come about an hour later. I could of done a better job at cleaning the place. The kitchen cabinets and handles were all sticky, and it was still visibly dirty still. They did give us a bunch of towels though, which was nice. For being a new rental I would of expected something much like the pictures, but it wasn't. The quality of furniture, bedding. appliances, silverware were subpar. I wasn't expecting the Ritz, but was expecting a nice clean semi what decent place. Other than that, Sea Colony was a nice place to visit. The tram was convenient, although after 5:30 they do not pick you up so you have to walk to the beach yourself unless you know where to pick up a green tram. The pools were all nice and clean as well as the beach. I gave it a 3 star because Sea Colony was nice, so it bumped up a star.
