Walk to the beach and downtown Bethany from this oceanside townhome! The first floor consists of an open living, dining area, and well-equipped kitchen. The living room is a great place to unwind along with your family or friends–it comes equipped with a sofa, three armchairs, and a flatscreen TV with cable. Right off the living is the small, but private back patio with five Adirondack chairs. Back inside, the dining table seats up to four lucky guests. Be the start of the group and surprise everyone with delicious meals prepared in the fully-equipped kitchen. There is a half bathroom on this level to add even more convenience. Climb up the spiral staircase and you'll find the second and upper level of this home away from home–two bedrooms and a full bathroom await. The shared outdoor pool will be everyone's best friend, especially during warm days.

Easy walk to the beach!

Loved being so close to the beach! Community swimming pool was nice and clean, too.

I have rented through Homeway in the past and have been very satisfied. However upon entering this property, which we had rented in sea pines previously and were very happy, we found stains upon the carpeting in the living room and paint chipping around the fireplace. We had stains in the upstairs bedrooms. Part of the toilet was broken and there was a hole in the shower stall. I felt as though I had to continue to take pictures so we did not get charged for these things. The property was in a great location close to the beach and had a great pool, and good kitchen. Just disappointed with stains everywhere and condition of property for what we paid.

5 Sea Pines Village

The tub did not drain, which was really annoying. The tv did not work for most of the week. The main burner on the stove did not work and the oven did not seem to heat at the temperature it was set too. Stains on carpets, ant traps all over kitchen, dirt on counter behind sink. Leftovers in refrigerator. Owner was there when we showed up, was not aware the place was rented. Was not very friendly. Would not stay here again.

Great location needed a good cleaning

The location is perfect and just right for what you need. The only negative is that the place was very dusty. Cobwebs = no deep cleaning. The carpet was very dated and the furniture was dirty and stained. The staircase to go upstairs is not recommended for small children or people with limited mobility.

Won’t be back

Upon arrival, the place was not clean. Toilet clogged, floor was not vacuumed , peanut butter like substance smeared down the leg of dining room table, finger prints all over coffee table in living room, glass doors (front and back) had finger prints all over them- just to name a few things. I would be frustrated with the filth anyways, but especially annoyed with the filth because I was told there was no early check in because of the extra cleaning that would be done due to covid. If that’s true, I’d hate to see what this place looks notwithstanding covid. The management was quick to send out a house keeper. She buzzed through the house doing a fair job. I continued to wait a couple more hours for maintenance. Called again and they somehow closed my ticket inadvertently. Maintenance promptly came upon the second call. I was then schooled on how to flush the toilet (hold the handle down until everything disappears in the bowl and then a couple seconds thereafter.) Frankly I wouldn’t come back to this property unless changes are made. The pictures of this place look nice and beautiful, but don’t be fooled. They do not show the stained, filmy carpet, or the filthy air intake, the stained kitchen table and counter tops, or the doors that barely shut or are difficult to open, ect. One final thing that was annoying. I never knew which two parking spots were mine. I called the office upon arrival and they said they didn’t know either and to just park right in front. It wasn’t until later I learned that only one of those spots belonged to the house. The secondary spot is across the way. On the positive side, beds were comfortable and there were a variety of pillows to choose from. Proximity to the boardwalk, oceanfront and places to eat was great! Three simple improvements that would go along way and change my mind about staying here again. 1. Get a new housekeeping service. 2. Pull the carpet out and put hard flooring in (tile or wood- anything but carpet) 3. Replace or paint the dining table. It’s disgusting to look at.

First trip to Bethany

Overall we had a great time. Location and atmosphere was nice. The property was a bit smaller than expected. The tall closet in the kitchen needs shelves to be used as a pantry since there is no room to store food. A gas grill would be nice. Also, would be nice if the pool was open a little later. We would like to plan a trip back next year and would most likely stay there agsin.

Great 1st time in Bethany

We loved this property. The location and size of the unit was perfect. Our only complaint was that the unit was not cleaned prior to our arrival. We called management and they cleaned the unit very quickly. The unit needs a deeper cleaning than was given, but otherwise it was great. We will definitely be coming back.
