"We had a wonderful stay at Timber Ridge Farm, a very beautiful and peaceful location. Steve is a great host who was very helpful in offering many suggestions on sights to see in the area. The house was extremely comfortable and we felt right at home. We will definitely stay again if we return to the Upper Peninsula."

"Enjoyed our group trip to this waterfront U.P. Retreat. The split level allowed us to have both pets and guests with pet allergies to stay in the same place. The lake has been treated for Milfoil and is clear with beautiful reflection of fall colors. Extremely peaceful with barely any waves. We rented a fishing boat w/motors from a nearby resort and the Cabin has all major amenities. The basement bedroom and full bath was suitable and while you have a shower curtain instead of bedroom door to block light/sound - the fully furnished bar and walkout door to lake makes up for it.There are many kitchen utensils and cookware however we were glad to have brought a few favorite items to cook with if needed. Close enough to town for anything you need while far enough to get some peace and quiet. Alpha Brewing or Logans’ Place are good options nearby."

"We were amazed how quiet and peaceful it was all week. I especially appreciated the kayak and how smooth the water in the slough was, also crystal clear, shallow. I felt I was the only one on the lake most of the time. Water is very shallow there, great for everyone. My husband fished right on the shore sitting in a lawn chair, pulled in fish one after another. So very relaxing. Great fire pit and plenty of wood."

"Going into your room you might think it was outdated (there was a quilt on the bed), but truthfully, it was like staying at your favorite relatives place. Everything was so clean and comfortable. The people were welcoming. The grounds had many places to sit and relax. The breakfast was simple and yet had everything you needed. The owners are looking for a buyer so they can retire. I only hope someone buys it that will keep it as nice as it is now."

"Perfect location. Unique property, a converted old church, added to the whole experience. Comfy beds & furniture, well equipped kitchen. Also 2 separate outside seating areas, one with gas fire pit, one with a wood burning fire ring & lots of seating. Close to Iron River but far enough away to give you the north woods experience. Wish we knew about it sooner. Will definitely come back here!"

"House was clean and quaint. It had everything we needed to grill and prepare meals. The lakeside yard was huge with great lake views of quiet and peaceful water. I wish I had remembered to bring my frisbee. We caught some fish and used the boats with electric motors, which worked out well. The fishing could have been better, but that’s how it goes sometimes. It was close to town, which was nice when we forgot butter. We made another year of fun, family memories."

"This was a cabin in the woods with everything we needed. The full kitchen and updated bathroom were a plus. The host was available for any communications and questions upon check in and throughout our stay. If you have stayed in cabins up North, this was a classic experience. I always bring extra sheets for sofas and such, but a group of guys hunting would have been just fine. Great location to town. I would stay again and recommend to friends."

"Such a lovely lakeside home, 3 levels of bedrooms and living space. Well stocked for cooking, towels, paper products, cleaning supplies, and items for everyday living; just like being home. We loved the porch, the deck, the dock, the calm beauty of it all. Starlink Internet , Directv, and a couple smart TVs keep you as in touch as you want to be while not taking over your life. Highly recommended by all 7 adults who relaxed and recharged our energy with a beautiful break from our everyday concerns. Thank you."
