Incredible property in the countryside. Loved the pool overlooking the mountains. Dinner was incredible… breakfast was fantastic… the suite was very comfortable.

"Pure Notions" as we say in Ireland

Our stay here was an experience. Unlike any other "hotel". Located spectacularly in the foothills of the pyrenees, accommodation consisted of little chalets scattered around a large area. Guests travel between the various facilities in golf carts. The restaurant was spectacular (view & food) but expensive. Breakfast was very good, also beautifully located

Wow, what a gem of a place in the Basque mountains! We expected this place to be good based on ratings and reviews, but it far exceeded our expectations. Food, wine, service, views and general accomodation — this was all amazing. Highly recommended!

A spectacular hotel!

From the moment we entered Auberge Ostape, we were treated with the utmost in hospitality. The staff were welcoming and so helpful, the rooms were spacious and beautifully appointed, the restaurant's food was spectacular and the views everywhere were beyond beautiful. The hotel is out in middle of nowhere and offers the most in tranquility. We were only there for a one night stay but it was enough to recharge our batteries and make us feel as if we'd been on an amazing retreat. We can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

Calme et bien être assurés !

Deuxième séjour à Ostapé et toujours un immense plaisir de couper du monde dans ce petit coin de paradis. Les chambres sont calmes et incitent à la détente, le site est tout simplement splendide car naturellement beau. L'équipe est adorable et la visite nouvelle de la collection privée est à voir pour tous les Porschistes ! Petits bémols pour cette deuxième : cafouillage à l'accueil (l'interphone ne fonctionnait pas), la chambre était moins bien que l'année dernière (sur 2 niveaux desquels nous avons moins profités et la vue était moins belle, tout ceci pour le même prix), pas de service à la piscine donc impossibilité de prendre une boisson fraiche et service très long au restaurant (toujours pas d'entrée une heure après). Nous avons une fois de plus énormément apprécié et nous y retournerons avec plaisir!

Escapade romantique

Bon accueil avec beaucoup de gentillesse. les déplacements par voiturettes électriques au sein de l'établissement sont aisées et contribuent amplement à faire de ce lieu un havre de paix et de silence. Les suites sont très belles et confortables. le restaurant est excellent et les prix y sont corrects.

Un écrin de verdure dans le pays basque

C'est un hôtel vraiment à part qui nous a procuré une expérience unique dans le Pays basque. L'hôtel est situé dans un écrin de verdure au coeur du Pays basque. Le calme règne, aucune voiture ne circule sur le domaine à part les voiturettes de golf électrique. Nous avons deux réserves : - sur la propreté de la suite : les w.c. n'étaient pas propres le fond n'était pas nétoigné. Il y avait des traces des personnes précédentes au fond des w.c.. La poussière n'avait pas été faite dans les sanitaires w.c. et la salle de bain. - sur le restaurant : il y avait un gros défaut lors du service, aucun des plats ne nous a été présenté. C'est un peu frustrant, car les plats étaient excellents.

This place is absolutely stunning. Located in the hills, it will provide you with stunning views, fresh air, and the piece and quiet that you need. The foods is exquisite and of Michelin star standard - make sure you try the souffle desert. The service is excellent, always there to help - these people really know what they are doing!

Isolation in beauty

We stayed two nights in a suite with wood burning fireplace which we happily used because of cold weather. Amazing silent place in the hills of Biskaia, not easy to reach. Don't try with a big car, and certainly not over the 'Pas de Roland' when coming from the Nord and be instructed to do so by the GPS. Very good restaurant with limited choice, not suitable when staying a week. Avoid the restaurant when a big group is in as staff tends to forget then you are there too.

Ce n'est pas un hotel mais un ensemble de petites villa dans la campagne Petites golfettes pour se rendre à notre chambre pour respecter l'environnement Magnifique suite, grande salle de bain avec grande baignoire Restaurant gastronomique très bon Très bon accueil Dommage ne servent pas les petits dejeuners en chambre Seul petit hic, j'avais réservé un massage 1mois à l'avance mais la masseuse n'est pas venue mais petit dejeuner offers
