A 4 bedroom Maine beach cottage built in the 1890's that is a 2 minute path walk to a long sandy beach with a view of the ocean from the deck. If you are looking for an authentic Maine beach experience, you have come to the right place. This home is in a perfect location to take advantage of Biddeford Pool's beauty and has access to the beach from a path on Elphis Rd. Walk 3 min to an iconic general store for sandwiches and lobster rolls to bring with you on a scenic coastal hiking trail that is also minutes away. Bike the 1 mile loop around the Pool to take in world famous coastal views.
    The house is the perfect balance between historical and user friendly with a large, fully updated kitchen surrounded by the charm and clever craftsmanship of another time. There's plenty of space to play a board game or do a puzzle on a rainy day with its warm and cozy living room. Create lobster dinner memories in an 8 person dining room right off the kitchen, or grill off the back deck and enjoy an after dinner walk on the beach! This is the perfect house for a multi generational family to stay, as there is a queen bedroom on the ground floor with the other three bedrooms upstairs, including one with 3 twins for the kiddos. Very clean updated spacious house close to beach. Delightful family photos & events decorate this homey residence. It is well equipped with modern appliances & the hosts are very responsive. There are several steps up & down to bathrooms that may be difficult for visitors w mobility issues. The house is ideal for families.

Pretty darn nice. Great location vis-a-vis the beach, and the house has all the needful things and thensome. Property managers are courteous and responsive. Book without hesitation and enjoy!

Fantastic house just steps from the beach!

We had a great time with three generations at this house. The location can’t be beat. It’s steps away from Boucher beach (with lifeguards and a bathroom), which was fantastic with our little ones. The house has a wagon (which was awesome) along with basic beach chairs and toys. There’s an outdoor shower to wash off the sand that the kids loved. We ate dinner and had ice cream on the rooftop deck while watching the sunset. It’s also a short ride into town, to the grocery store, pharmacy etc. The bedrooms are not huge but comfortable and have adequate closet/drawer space. One full size bed has shutters that overlook the dining space that would only be safe for older kids. The twin bed room was ideal for the little ones. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook multiple family dinners. Joy and her team were FANTASTIC and located nearby. We’ve rented from them in the past and will do so in the future. This is a great house to enjoy the coast.
